Section 2. The Inspector of Buildin�s �hall, before issuing aay permit fos

ing building or atructure, or for any alterations or repaira to any existing

2.1. For anq such perm3.t for the er�ction of any fire-proof building, other
than,a garage„ warehouae, factory or �rain eleva�or, or for the erection of
any fire-proof adi�ition, for similas occupaacy, to any exieting building
shall..b� at the rate of $1:4O�for each one thousand cubic"feet, or fraction
thereof, in such cubical coatents.
2.2. For aay auch permit for the erection of any fire-proof gerage. warehouse,
f�c�ory or grain elevator, or for the erection of any fire-proof addition,
for similar occupancy, to any exiati�g building sh�ll be at the rate of $1.2S
for each Qae thousand cubic feet, cl�ssified as °tfireproof0° by Section 502 of
the A2innenpolis Building Code.

GARAGES
2.4. For.any such permit for the esection of any nou-fireproof garage,
warehouse, factory or grain elevator, or for the erection of any non-fireproof
addieion, for similar occupancy, to any ex3sting building or for each auch
building or addiCion - niaety centa ($0.90) for each one thousand cubic feet
cr fraction thereof, in the cubical contents thereof with a minimum af $4.00.
For the purpose of computting fees for building permita, the cubical contents
of anq building or addition to a uniform height throughout by multiplying the
ground area c,overed fram a.poinic six (6) inches below the floor Liae of the
basement or cellar to the average.height of the upper surf�ce or to the
average height of the roof surface of the main gable of a pitched roof.
2.5. For repairs or alCerations to an exis�ing structure, the fee ahall be
at �he rate of $3.00 per each Fiv� Hundred Dollara ($500.00) or fraction
