Building Inspection and Photos
Inspection of the dwelling and property at 6570 Fridley Street
showed the following:
l. Fire burned through upper kitchen wall on upper story at rear of
house. (See photo)
2. Ceiling in kitchen and bathroom torn out and reveals charred
rafters and roofing in attic area. (See photo)
3. Holes in ceiling reveal�°newspaper batting insulation.
4. Two electric meters in basement for separate floors.
5. Two hot water heaters; one labeled "2nd floor".
6. Some fire debris to rear of house.
7. Some litter near old burning area at rear of lot. Appears ico be

RE: 6570 Fridley Street N.E.
On March 19, 1970 our Building Inspector reported the fire damage at
6570 Fridley Street. On March 30, 1970, he made another inspection of the
progerty with a contractor named McCall (?) to ascertain damage and note
repairs necessary.
On Ma.rch 30, 1970, I talked to the wife of Ray Anderson, (son of the
owner), and informed her of the need for clean-up and repair of the
property and that the property could not be rebuilt or repaired as a two
family dwelling in an R-1 Zone.
On April 2, 1970, the owner, J. H. Anderson, called me from Florida
to find out what could be done with the property. I informed him that _�
the property needed clean-up and the structure needed to be repaired or
rebuilt, but that it could not be reconstructed as a two family dwelling.
Mr. Anderson stated that he just wants to clean it up, repair it and sell
it, and would be happy to repair it as a single family dwelling. fle also
stated that his son, Ray Anderson, would be taking care of the property
for him until he returned to Minnesota, and that his son and a contractor
would be taking out a building permit to repair the property immediately,
