BUII.DING PERMIT FEE SCAEDUI,E
Sectioa 2. The Inapector of Bu3ldings shall, before iasuing aay permit for
the erection of aay bu3lding or structure, or for any addition to any exist-
iag building or structure, or for any alterations or repaira to any existing
buildin� or structure, upon application therefor, require the paymeat by the
applicant for such permit of fees to the amouat heraia below set forth and
in the manner herein provided Co-wit:
2.1. For aay such permit for the erection o.f any fire-proof building, other
than a garage� warehouse_, factory or grain elevator, or for the erectioa of
any.fire-proof addieion, for similar occupaacp, to any exiating building
ahall be at the rate of $i.40 for each one thousand cubic feet, or fraction
thereof, in such cubical contents.
2.2. For aay such permit for the erection af any fire-proof garage, werehouse,�
factorq or grain elevator, or for the erectioa of any fire-proaf addition,
for similar occupancy, to anq existing building shall be aC the rate of $1.25
for each one thousand cubic feet, classified as "fireproof" by Section 502 of
the Minneapolia Suilding Code.

warehouse, factory or graia elevator, or for the erection of anq non-fire�roaf

or fraatiou thereof, in the cubical contents thereof with a minimum of $4.04..-
For the purpose of camputiag fees for building permita, the c�bical contents
of any buildiug or addition to a uni�orm height throughout by �1tip�ying the
ground area covered from a point si�c (6) inches below the floor line of ithe
basement or cell•ar `to the average height of the ugper surface or to the
average height of the rQof arurface of the maim gable of a p�,tched roof.
2.5. For repairs or alterations to an exiating structu�e, the fee shall be
at the rate of $3.00 per each Five Sundred Dollare ($500.00) or fraction
thereof ta the coet of all propoaed work.
2.6. In no case �hall the fee__charged:;For.any_permit.-as set forth ia

For the purpose of computing fees for building permits, the cubical contents of any
building or addition, is determined by multiplyiiig the ground area covered from a
point six (6) inches below the floor line of the basement or th� cellar to the
average heights of the upper surface or to the average height of the roof surface
of the main gabl.e of a pitched roof .
For repairs or alterations to an existing structure, the fee shall be at the rate
of $3.00 per each five hundred dollars ($500.00) or fraction thereof in the cost
of all proposed ;aork.
In no cas.e shall the fee charged for any pe'rmit as set forth in Section 2 be �ess
than $7.50 plus $.50 state surcharge.

NOTE: Permits �ar construction will be issued a mini.miun of 24 hours from the time
of aPplication to allow for proper review of the proposed structure and of the
construction site. .
A Certificate of Suzvey of the lot, showing the location of the foundation once it

Application for a Certificate of Occupancy shall be made ten (�d) days prior to the
use or occupancy of any structure for which a builcliiig permit has been issued; and
said structure shall not be used or occupied until a Certificate of Occupancy has
