Section 2. The Inspector of Buildings shall. before 3sauiag anq peraiit for
�h� erection of any bui.ldiag or structure, or for any addition Co aay exiet-
ing building or structure, or for any�altera�ions or repairs to any exiating
building or s�ructure, u�on a�plicatioa therefor, require the pay�en� by the
applican� for �uch permit of feea to the smounE herein below set £orth �ad
in the manner herein prov3.a�ed to�wi�;
2.1. For any such permit for the erection o,f anp fixe-proof building, othe�
than a garage' warehouse, factory or graia elevator, or for the erectioa of
any fire-proof additf�an, for simi.lar occupaacy, to any egisting bu3lding
shall be 8t the rate of�$1.40 for eacl� one thousand cubic feet, ot fract�.o�
�hereof, in such cubical conterats.
2.2. For aay such permit for the erection of any fire-proaf gasage� warehouse,
f�ctory or grain elevator, or for the erection of any fire-proof aaditioa,
�or similar occupancy, to a.�y existing buildiag shall be� at the rate o� $1.25
