BIIILDING PEItM�T FEE SCIiEDULE
SECTIOP 2. The �napector tif Buildings shall, before iasuin� any permit for
the erection of any building or etructure, or for any addition to any esiatiug
building or structure, or for anq alterationa or repaira to any exiseing
building or atructure� upon application therefore, require the payment by the
applicant_for such permit of fees to the amount herein below set forth and in
the manner herein provided to•wit;
2.1. For anq such permit for the erection of any fire-proof building,
otha`r tha a garage, warehouse, fac�tory or grain elevator, or for the erection
of any fire-proof additiou, for aimilar occupancy, to any eaisting building,
aha11 be at,the rate of $1.40 for each one, thousand cubic feet, or fraction
thereof, in such cubical contents. •�
2.2 For any auch permit for the� erection of any fire-proof garage,
warehouse, factorys or.grain elevator, or for Ehe erection of any fireMproof
addition, for similar occupancy� to�any exiating building shall be at the
rate of $1.25 for each one thoueand cubic feet, claesified as "f�,reproof"
bq Section 502 of the Minneapolis.Building Cocle.

2.3. For any auch permit foi the erecti.qaf.of,any non-fireproof
building other than a garage,.warehousa, factorq or�grain elevator, or
any non-fireproof addition, for �imilar.occupancy, to any existing bui7,ding -
permit $1.00 for each one thousand,cubic feet.

2,4. For any such permit for the erection of any non-fi�eproof garage,
warehouse, factory or grain elevatoz, or for the eraction of any nqn-fire-proof
addition, for s3milar occupancy, to any egisting buildiag or for each auch
building or additfon - ninetq cents ($0.90) fo� each one thousand cubic feet
or fraction thereof, 3n the cubical contents thereof�with the minimum of $4.00.
For the purpose of computing f�ea for building permita, the cubical contenta
of any bu3lding or addition to a uniform height throughout by multiglying the
ground area covered from a poinC six (b) inchea bel�ow the floor line of the
baeemeat or cellar to the average h0ight of the upper aurface or to the average
height of the roof sur�ace of the main gable of a pitched roof.
2,5. For repaira or alterations to an existing aCructure, the fee s?�all
be at the rate of $3.00 per each Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) or fractivn
thereof ia the cost of �11 prdppsed work.
2.6. in no cas8 8ha11 the fee charged for any permit as set forth in
Sactio 2n be less than $4.00.

For the purpose of computing fees for building permits, the cubical contents of any
building or addition, is determined by multiplying the ground area covered from a
point six (6) inches below the floor line of the basement or the cellar to the
average heights of the upper surface or to the average height of the roof surface
of the mai.n gable of a pitched roof .
For repairs or alterations to an existing structure, the fee shall be at the rate
of $3.00 Zaer each five hundred dollars ($500.00) or fraction thereof in the cost
of all proposed work. ,
In�no case shall the fee charged for any permit as set forth in Section 2 be less
than $7.50 plus $.50 state surcharge.

NOTE: Permits for cohstruction will be issued a minimiun of 24 hours from the time
of application to allow for proper review of the proposed structure and of the

A Certificate of Survey of the lot, showing the location of the foundation once it
