BUILDING PERMIT FEE SG`�EDOLE
SEGTION 2. The Inspector of B�ildings shall, before isauing any permit for
the erection of any building or etructure� or for any addition to any existing
building or �tructure, or for any alterations�or.-repsirs to any existing
building or atructure, upon application..therefore, require the paymeat by the
applicant for such permit of fees to the a�ouat herein below �et forth and in
the mann�r herein provided to-wit: �
2.1. For any such permit for the'erection of any fire-proof building,
othei than a gara�e, warehouse, factory or grain elevator, or for the erection
of any fire-proof addition, for aimilar occupancy, to any e$ietirig building,�
shall be at the rate of $1.40 for each one ehoueand cubic feet, or fraction
thereof, in such cubical conteats.
2.2 For aay such permit for the erectiou of aay fire -proof garage,
warehouse, factory or grain elevator, or for the erection of any fire»proof
addition, to� similar occupancy, to any exYsting building shali be at the
rate of $1.25 for each one thousaad cubic feet, classified as "�ireproof"
by Sectio���-502 of the Minneapolis Buildiag Code. _

2.3. For any such permit for the erection o£ any non-fireproof
building, other than a garage, warehouso, factory or grain elevator, or
any non-fireproof addition, for s�imilar oceupancy, to any existing buildiag -
permit $1.00 for each one thousaad �ubic feet. �
GARAGES
2.4. For any such permit for the erection of aay non-fireproof garage,
warehouse, factory or grain elevator, or for�the erection of aay non-fire•proof
addition, £or similar occupancy., to any egisting building or for each auch
building or addition - ninety cents ($0.90) for each one thousand cubic feet
or fraction thereof, in the cubical conCents thereof with the minimum of $4.00.
For the purpose of computing fees.for building permits, the cub�ical contents
of any building or addition to a uaiform height throughout by multiplyiug Che
ground area covered fram a point si.x (6) inches below the floor line af the
baseffient or.cellar to the average h�ight of the upper aurface or to the average
height of the roof surface of the main gable of a pitched roof.
2.5. For repairs or alterations to an existing struceure, the fee shall
be at the rate of $3.00 per�each Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) or fracv�.on
thereo£ 3n tha cost of a11 �S�r'opdsed work. '�
2.6. In no case shall�Ch� fee.charged for any permit as set forth in
Section 2 be lesa than $4.00. "

HE Intersection Vision Safey Zone Obstructioa
Deaz' Mr. Baldauff:
In order to provide safe passage for vehicular and pedestrian traffic in the
City of Fridley, periodic inspections of street intersections are conducted.
An inspection of Septe�ber 11, 1985 has determined that the sightline for the
intersection on your property is obstructed by a large spruce tree and eould
present a hazard to traffic.
Section 205.03.78 of the City Code requires that, "The triangular area of a
corner lot beginning at the intersection of the street surface edge or curb
lines, thence forty (40) feet along each curb line, thence a straight line
between the two (2) points, but never more than the triangular area measured
from ta�►enty five (25) feet from tbe intersection of the right-of-Way lines."
Therefore, the City is requesting you, the property ovner, to correct the
problea by trimming clear the branches of the tree to a height of five feet
to allo�a safe visual sight of the intersection at Gardena Lane and Yoody
Lane. A reinspection �ill be conducted on or about September 25, 1985 to
determine compliance. '

BUILDING PERNIIT FEE SCHEDULE
The Chief Build.ing Official shall, before issuing permifs for the erection of any bui.lding or
sixucture, or for any ad.dition to any existing building or stru.cture, or for any altera.tion or repair
to any existing building or stru.cture, upon application therefore, require the payment by the
applicant for such permit of fees to the amount herei.n below set forth and i.n the manner herein
provided to-wit:
VERIFICATION OF FOUNDATION
Permits for const�uction will be issued a minimum of 24 hours from the time of application to
allow for proper review of proposed structure and of the construction site.
A Certifica.te of Survey of t�e lot, showing the loca.tion of the existing found.a.tion will be
