BDILDING PERMIT FEE S�HEDULE
SBCPION 2. The Inspector of Buildings shall, before isauing any permit for Che
erectian of anq building or struceure, oz for any addition to any esietin� build-
ing or atructurg, or for anq alterations or repairs to any exieCing building or
structure, upon application therefore, require the payment by the applicant for
such permit of fees to the annount herein below set forth and in the manner herein
provided to•wit;
2.1. For any auch permit for the erection of any fire-proof building,
other than a garage, warehouse, factory or grain elevator, or for the erection
of any fire-proof addition, for aimilar occupancy, to any exiating building,
shall be at the rate of $1.40 for each one thousand cubic feeC, or fraction
thereof, in such cubical contents.

Warehouee, factory or graia elevator, or for the erection of any fire-proof
addition, for similar accupancq, to any exisCing building shall be at the rate
of $1,25 for each oae thousand cubic feet, classified as "fireproof" by
Section 502 of the Mianeapolia Building Code.

other than a garage, warehouse, factory or grain elevator, or aay non-fireproof
addition, for aimilar occugancy, to any exiating buildiag - permit $1.D0 for each
one thousand cubic feet.
GA�RAGES
2.�+. For any such permit for the erection of anq noa-fireproof garage,
caarehouse, factory or grain elevator, or for the erection of any non-fireproof
addition, for similar occupancp, to any esisting building or for each such
buildin� or addition - ninetq cents ($0.90) for each one thousand cubic feet
or fraction thereof, ia the cubical comtente thereof with the minimum of $4.00.
For the purpose of computing fees for i�uilding permita, the cubical contents
of anq building or addition Co a uni�orm height throughout by multiplying the

basement or cellar to Che average he3ght of the ugper surface or to the averagg
height of the roof aurface of the main gable of a pitch�d roof.
Z„ For repairs or alterations to aa existing structure, the fee shall
�e at the rate of $3.00 per each Five �undred Dollars ($500.00) or fraction
thereof in the cost of a11 propoaed work.
2.6. In no case ahall the fee charged for aay permit as set forth in
Seetion 2 be leas than $4.00. ,
