letter of December 31, 1986 to the City for a resFonse.
7he City is initiating improvemets along Hathaway Lane and Old Central
Avenue. In order to facilitate these improvenents, Ms. Willieans is willing
to transfer a triangular portion of her property oonsistng of approximately
274 sguare feet to her adjoining neic�bor in order to provide a driveway
access fran his property. �e City is assisting in this transfer as it
relates to the roadway improvenents.
Attached is a mp� of Ms. Willivns' letter indicating her willingness to
sell the property at a cost of $2.60 per square foot plus associated
processing fes of $265.00 as noted in youc letter. In addition, ti�e City
kill be relocating the existing fence line and planting shrubs as agreed
to. Also enclosed is a letter of tmderstanding on the property transfer
and a descziption of the parcel. A legal description has also been
preFsred. We have reviewed the propecty records and found there are no
special assessnents associated with Ms. Williams' property.

Dear Mr. Flora:
After considerable research, I have arrived at a figure that I am
willing to sell approximately 350 square feet of the property I
own, along with Banc Plus, at 5760 Hackmann Avenue N.E., Fridley,
Minnesota, to the City of Fridley.
Per your request, I am writing to advise you that I will consider
selling the portion of my property, previously discussed, at the
rate of $2.60 per square foot. This offer to sell is entirely
contingent on the City of Fridley paying all attorney fees, title
searches, recording of documents, etc. for the partial release of
my property.
This offer to sell is also contingent upon the City of Fridley
complying with our verbal agreement to leave the trees presently
on my property and properly landscape my property at this
location, including a fence and scrubs at the edge of my property.
I feel a fenee for part of the way is necessary to keep the beach
goers from cutting across my property, especially in the summer
when the beaeh is open. I also must request that the City of
Fridley enforce the City Ordinance regarding vehicles at the
abutting property not be parked on the grass. In other words, I
would prefer not to see a"used car lot" appearance at the West
end of my property.
