SECTIOP 2. The Inspector.of Suildings shall,, before issuing any permit for
the erection of any building or s�tructure, or for any addition to any e�isting
building or structure, or for anq alterations or repairs to any esisting
building os etructure, upon epplication therefore, require the payment by the
applicant for such permit of fees to the amount herein below set forth and in
the manner herein prov3ded to•wits
2.1. For any auch permit .for..the erection of any fire-proof building,
othei tha �a garag�, warehou�e, factorq or grain elevator, or for t&e erection
of any fire-proof addition, for similar�:pccupancy, to any esi�ting building,
sha11 be at the Yate of $1.G0 for each��one thoueand cubic feet, or fraction
thereof, in such cubical contents.
2.2 For any euch permit for.Che erection•'of any fire-proof garage,
warehouse,�fac�ory or grain elevator, or for the erection of any fire»proof
addition, for similar occupancy, to any existing building aha11 be at the
rate of $1.25 for each one thousarid cubic feet, classified as "fireproof"
by 5ection 502 of the Minneapol.is Build3.ag Code.
SOIISES
2.3. For any such permit_for the erection of any aon-fireproof
building, other than a garage, warehouso, factory or �rain elevator, or
any non•fireproof addition, for �imilar o�cupaucy, to any esieting building -
permtt $1.00 for each one thousand cubic feet.
GARAGES
2.4. For aay such permit for the erection of anq non-fireproof garage,
warehouse, factory or grain elevator, or for the erection of any non-fire-proof
addition, for similar occupancq, to any esisCing b�ildiag or for each such
buildin� or addition - ninety centa ($0.90) for each one thous.and cubic feet
or fractioa thereof, in the cubical contenta thereof with the minimum of $4,00.
For the purpose of computing fees for building permita,�the cubical contents
of any building or addition to a uuiform height thrqughout by multiplying the
ground area cavered fram a point six (6) i�ches below the floor line of the
basement or cellar to the average height of the upger surface or to the average
height of the roof surface of the,main gable of a pitched �oof.

BUILDING PERMIT FEE SCHEDULE
SECTION 2. The Inspector of Buildings shall, before issuing permits for the
erection of any building of structure, or for any addition to any existing
buildi�ng;or structure, or for any alteration or repairs to any existing building
or structure, upon application therefore, require the payment by the applicant
for such permit of fees to the amount hereifl below set forth and in the manner
herein provided to-wit: -
Ur..iform Build.ing Code; Type 1,2, & 4- $1.75 for each one thousand cubic feet, or
fraction thereof, in such cubical contents. Type 3& 5-$1.50 for each
one thousand cubic feet.
For the purpose of computing fees �for building permits, the cubical contents of
any building or addition to a uniform height throughout by multipluing the ground
area covered from a point six (6) inches below the floor line of the basement or
cellar to the average height of the upper surface or to the average height of the
roof surface of the main gable of a pitched roof.
For repairs or alterations to an existing structure, the fee shall be at the
rate of $3.00 per each Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) or fraction thereof
in the cost of all proposed work.
In no case shall the fee charged for any�permit as set forth in Section 2 be

I am attaching a set of inscallation instructions along with construction details for the roof structure.
This has been rypically acceptable for obtair►ing a building permit. The gross size of the structure
usually exempts chc requieeu�eAts for engincering review. The crite�a that we use in our designs for
spa-mounted structures is for a 30 pound per square foot s�now load and a wind load of �0 mph in a
typical backyard setting. W� have approximately S00 of this pacticulaz model installed around the
country in such areas as Montana, Alaska and Wisconsin and have experienced aero failures due to
snow and wind exposure. If you require further information, I will need approximately two weeks to
prepare the information.

track with the grooves downward and the predr�lted screw holes towards th� outside
of the enclosure. Fasten to posts with 21/2in scr�ews.
6) Insert comer windows in betwean adjacent entry po�ts and on top of the exposed
ends of the sGffeners. Align side frar�te of window to entry posts and festen together
with 21/2in screws.

side to side. The gap should be approx. 21n front and back �nd 1in slde to slde.
Measure across from outside to outside of opposing shelv�s. 7't'tsy should measure
104in the long directlon and 90in the short directton. Also equalize dl�gonally'(rom
corner window to comer window for squarene�s. Adjust stlffsners if necessary and

gable end with 1 5/8in screws. Position the pi�ces�
so that the groove is upwards.
18) Pos�tion skylight atop ridge headers. NOTE: FOR
SKYLIGHT!! SAVE YOURSELF SOME EFFQRT $ DO
THE INITIAL GLASS CLEANING BEFORE YOU
INSTALL IT!! The skylight should overhang ths rldge
headers an equal distance irom side to s+de. The
skylight end frame should measure 1/21n from the
ends of the ridge headers. Fasten up through the
ridge headers into th� skylight end frames with 3in
screws.
19) Insert the 2 pieaes M sheet acrylic (PL-4035) into
the grooves ot the installed soffit pieces. Pasitfon the
grooves of the two remaining sotflt pleces {TR-3500J
onto the top edge of the acrylic and fasten thsm to
the underside of the end frame of the skylight using
3i� screws. Then fasten Into the ends of the sofflt
piece through the ridge header with more 31n scrv�ws.
20) Insert doors into the tracks. The wider doors o
i�to the 69in openings and the narnow doors into �e
54in openings.
