BUILDING PERNIT FEt SCHEDULE
SECTION 2. The Inspector of Buildings shall, before issuing permits for the erection
of any building or structure, or for any ad�ition to any �xisting building or structure,
or for any alteration or repairs to any existing building or structure, upon application
therefore, require the payment by the applicant for such permit of fees to the amount
herein below set forth and in the manner herein provided to-wit:
NEW CONSTRUCTION: Single Family Homes and Garages: $4.00/1,000 cubic feet.
PLAN CHECK: 25 percent of building permit fee.
DRIVEWAY DEPRESSION: (Concrete G�rb Streets Only)
Alternate A: Removal and replacement of concrete curb and
gutter only; Driveway width plus 6 feet x$11.75
Alternate B: Removal and replacement of concrete curb and
gutter and install a 3 foot wide approach with
6 inch dep�h; Driveway width plus 6 feet x$15.g�
�4D�ITIONAL INFORMATION
For the purpose of com�uting fees for building permits, the cubical contents of any
building or addition, is detertnined by multiplying the ground area covered from a
point six (6) inches below the floor line of thz basement or the cellar to the
average heights of the upper surface or to the average height of the roof surface
of the main gable of a pitched roof.
For repairs or alterations to an. existing structure, the fee shall be at the rate
of $3.00 per each five hundred dollars ($500.00) or fraction thereof in ihe cost
of a11 proposed work.
In no case sha11 the fee charged for any permit as set forth in Section 2 be less
than $7.50 plus $.50 state surcharge.
YERIFICATIO� OF FOUNDATIO(V
NOTE: Permits for construction will be issued a minimiun of 24 hours from the time
of applicati.on to allow for proper review of the proposed structure and of the
construction site.
A Certificate of Survey of the lot, showing the location of the four�dation once it
ha.s been constructed will be required before proceeding with the framing.
CtRTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY
Application for a Certificate of Occupancy shall be made ter_ (10) days prior to the
use or occupancy of any structure for which a building permit has been issued; and
said structure shall not be used or occupied until a Certificate of Occupancy has
been issued.

Our Forest�er is out sick, so Ralph Vollanan made the inspection at this address. It
was detennined that the tree is not diseased. We will continue to m�nitor it this
year.
The boulevard is 10 feet on this street, and this tree is 11 feet behind the curb.
It is not a boulevard tree. All the trees on the west side of Haclanann are 11
feet behind the curb, and are r�t witivn the 10 foot boulevard. The city has not
removed any tsees on this side of the street, because they are placed on private
property. The hcenes on the east side of Haclanann are in the 6-7 foot range,
whiclz places th�n on the boulevard. In 1984, w� re�roved a tree at 5945 HaclQnann
Avenue, and in 1985, we reiroved 5 trees off of Haclanann Circle, which were in the
6-7 foot b�ulevard range. In 1986, we re�naved a tree at 1080 Hacktnann Circle
which was in the boulevan3.
These trees w�exe not planted by the Gity, but were a requirement by the FHA and
VA Loan Associations. A tree had to be planted by the contract�or with each hcere.

Dear Mr. Hildebrandt:
On July 1, 1990, the City of Fridley began a new program called
Systematic Code Enforcement. This program is designed to provide
fair and equitable code enforcement, improve the City's appearance,
and maintain property values by creating a more attractive suburban
environment. Under this program, all properties in the City will
be inspected approximately once each year to ensure that they are
in compliance with the Fridley City Code.
A recent inspection of your property revealed that not all Code
requirements are presently being met. Listed below are item(s)
which do not comply with the Code:
1. Observed solid waste containers in front of garage in front
yard. Fridley City Code 113 requires that all solid waste
containers must be stored in the side yard, rear yard, or
garage, except on the collection date.
Your prompt attention in correcting this problem would help us in
our effort to improve the City. A reinspection will be conducted
on or about August 23, 1990, at which time compliance is
anticipated. Please call me at 572-3595 if you have questions or
