BUILDING PERMIT FEE SCHEDULE
SECTIOIQ 2. The Inspector of Buildings shall, before isauing any peraait for
the erection of any building or sEructure, or'fbr any addition to any existing
building or structure, or for any alterations or repairs to any existing
building or structure, upon application therefore, require the payment by the
applicant for.such permit of �fees to the amoun� hersi.n below set�forth and in
the manner herein provided Co-wit:

2.1. For any such permit for the erection of any fire-proof building,
other than a garage, warehouse, factory or'grain elevator, or for the erection
of any fire-proof addition� for similar occupaacy, to any esisting building,
shall.be at the rate of $1.40.for-each one thousand cubic feet, or.fraction
thereof, in such cubical contents.
2.2 For any such permit for the erection of any fire �proof.garage,
warehouse, factory�or grain elevator, or for the erectioa of any'fire»proof
addition, for similar,occupancy,,to any existing building shall be at the
rate of $1.25 for each�one'thousand cubic €eet, classified as �'ffreproof"
by Section 502 0�' the Minneapo�is Building Code,

2.3. For any such permit for. the erection of any non-fireproof
building, other than a garage, warehouse,��factory or grain elevator, or
any non-fireproof addition, for similar occupancy, to any existing bui�ding -
permit $1,00 for each one thousand cubic feet.

warehouse,.factory or grain elevator, or for the erection of any non-fire-proof
addi�fon, for sim3lar occupancy, to any egisting buildiag or for each such
building or addition - ninety cents ($0.90) for each one thousand cubic feet
or fraction thereof, in the cubical. cantents thereof with the minimum of $4.00.
For the purpose of computing fees for building permits, the cubical contents
of any building or addition to a uniform height throughout by multiplqing.the
ground area covered fram a point six (6j inches belaw the floor Iine of the
basement or cellar to the average h�fght of the upper aurface or to the average
height of the roof surface.of the main gable of a pitched roof.
2,5. For repairs or $lterations to an existing structure, the fee sa�ll
be at the rate of $3.'OO per,each Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) or..fracti:;n
thereof in the`cos�� of a11 proposed work.
2.6. . In no case Shall the fee charged for any permit as set forth in
