Section 2. The Inspector of �i.i].dings sha11, before issuin� at�y permit for the
erection of any building or stY�u.cture, or for any add3t3on tc any existing bu31d-
ing or structure, or for eny alterationa or repa3rs to any ex3sting building or
structure, upon application therefor, require the pa�ment by the applicant for
such permit of ieea to the amount here3n below aet forth and in the moxuzer herein
provided to-wit:
2.1. For auy such permit for the erection of any fire-proof building, other thaa
a garage, warehouse, factory or grain elevator, or for the erection of ar�► fire-
proof addition, for aimi7.ar occupancy, to �ny exist�ng building shall be at the
rate of �7../�.0 for each oae thousattd cubic feet, or fraction thereof, in such
cubical contenta.
2.2. For any such permit for the erection of any fireproof garage, warehouse,
factory or grain elevator, or for the erection of sx�r fireproof addition, for
similar occupancy, to any existing building shall ba at the rate oF �1:25 for
each one thousand cubic feet, claesified as nfireproof" by Section 502 of the
Minneapolis Building Code.

BUILDING PERMIT FEE SCHEDULE
The Chief Building Official sha11, before issuing permits for the erection of any building or
structure, or for any addition to any existing building or structure, or for any alteration or repair
to any existing building or structure, upon application therefore, require the payment by the
applicant for such permit of fees to the amount herein below set forth and in the manner herein
provided to-wit:
VERIFICATION OF FOUNDATION
Permits for construction will be issued a minimum of 24 hours from the time of application to
allow for proper review of proposed structure and of the construction site.
A Certificate of Survey of the lot, showing the location of the existing foundation will be
