ang exist9.ng buildin� or structure, or for any alteratiane or repaira
to any exi.st3ng bu37.ding or structure, upon application therefor, require
the payment by the e.pplicant for such permit of fees to the amount herein
be3ow set forth and in the manner herein provided to-wit:
2.1. For any suc13 permit for tFie erection of anv fire-proof building�.other
than a garage, werehouae, factory or grain elevator, or for the erect3on of
any fireproof a�ddition, for similar occupancy, to any existing building
sha11 be at the rate of �l.l�,0 for each one thousand cubic feet, or f"raction
thereof, in such cubical cantenta.
2.2. For any such permit for the erection of any fireproof �arage, ware-
housQ� factory or gra3a elenator; or for the erection of any fireproof
addition, for similar occupancy, to.�ny exist3ng building shall be at the
ra.te of �1.25 for eac�i one thousand cubic feet, classified as "ffreproof"
by Ssctioa 502 of the Minneapolis Building Code.
