BUILDING PERMIT FEE SCHEDULE
SECTION 2. The Inspector of Buildings shall, before issuing permits for the
erection of any building of structure, or for any addition to any existing
building;or structure, or for any alteration or repairs to any existing building
or structure, upon application therefore, require the payment by the applicant
for such permit.of fees to the amount herein below set forth and in the manner
herein provided to-wit;
Ur..iform Building Cod'e; Type 1,2, & 4- $1.75 for each one thousand cubic feet, or
fractian thereof, in such cubical contents. Type 3& 5-$1.50 for each
one thousand cubic feet.
For the purpose of computing fees`�for building permits,.the cubical contents of
any building or addition to a uniform height throughout by multipluing the ground
area covered from a point six (6) inches below the floor line of the basement or
cellar to the average height of the upper surface or to the average height of the
' roof surface of the main gable of a pitched roof. ,
For repairs or alterations to an existing structure, the fee shall be at the
rate of $3.00 per each F.ive Hundred Dollars ($500.00) or fraction thereof
in the cost of all proposed work.
In no ca-�e shall �the fee charged for any permit as set forth in Section 2 be
less than $5.00.

BUILDING PERMIT FEE SCHEDULE

S�CTION 2, The Inspector of Buildings sha11, before issuing permits for the
erection of any building or structure, or for any addition to any existing
building or structure, or for any alteration or repairs to any existing
building or structure, upon application therefore, requixe the payment by the
applicant for such permit of fees to the amount herein below-set forth and in
the manner herein provided to-wit:
UI�IIFORM BUILDING CODE: Type 1, 2& 4-$2.15 fox each one thousand cubic
feet, or fraction thereof, in such cubical contents. Type 3& 5-$1.85 for
each one thousand cubic feet. '

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

For the purpose df computing fees for building permits, the cubical conten�s
of any building or addition, is determined by multiplying the ground area
covered from a point six (6) inches below the floor line of the basement
ox the cellax to the avexage heights of the uppex surface or �o the average.�•
•height of the roof surface of the main gable of a pitched roof.
For repaixs or alterations to an existing structuxe, the fee shal'1 be at the
rate of $3.00 per each five hundred dollar� ($500.00) or fraction thereof in
the cost of all propos�d woxk.
In no case sha11 the fee charged for any permit as set forth in Section 2 be
less tha� $5.00.
VERIFICATION OF FOUNDATION
NOTE: Pexmits for construction will be issued a mini.mum of 24 hours from the
time of application, to allow.for proper review of ihe proposed structure axad
of the constxuction site.
A Certi�ied Survey oi' the lot, showing the location of �he foundation, once it
has been constru.cted, will be required before proceeding with the fxaming.
CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY
Application for a Certificate of Occupancy shall be ma.de ten (10) days prior
to the use or occupancy of any structure for which a building percnit has been
issued; and said structure shall no� be used or occup3ed until a Cextificate

As discussed, one (.l) skimmer approved by the National Sanitation
Foundation will be provided. ,
As discussed, two (2) inlets of approved design for fresh and/or
repurified wafcer will b� provided.
The filter and pump shall be approved by the N.S.F, and be of sufficient
capacity to provide a minimum turnover of at least two (2) ti.mes in
24 hours. This department recommends a turnover rate of 6-8 hours.
A deck of at least 3 feet wide, measured from the pool water's edge
shall be provided which extends completely around all private
residentia� pools; provided that above ground private residential
paols may be provided with decking of a minimum size of 4 feet by 4 feet
at pool entry points and provided that such decking has the approval of
the Health Authority.
A°fence or other suitable barrier, a minimum of six (6) feet high,
that affords no external hand or foot holds and which is impenetrable
by todd].ers, must be provided around the entire perimeter of the pool.
All gates and other accesses shall be equipped with self-closing and
self-latching devices which are capable.of being locked.
An automatic chlorinator should be provided with a suitable test kit.
All electrical and plumbing installations shall be inspected°and
approved by the City Inspection Department.
Al1 electrical lines must be 10-20 feet or more away from the pool surface.
The pool fill s ut must be air gapped or protected hy a vacumn breaker.
Suitable safety�equipment to include but not limited to a ring buoy
and rope that is 1� times the pool�diameter, and shepards crook pole
must be provided and maintained with the pool at all times.

seTf-latching levices wliicks are cap�ble o� being 'loc?ced.
An automatic chlorzna�i.or should be prc��i3e�i wi�h � suitable test kit.
All electrical and plumbing inst�.11ations s,ha11 be inspected and
apprc�ved by the City Inspection Department.
All electr.ical lines must b� 10-20 feet or m�re away from the pool surface.
The pocl filt spout must be air gapped or protected by a vacumn breaker.
Suitabl.e safety equipme;�� to include but not limited to a ring buoy
and rope that is 1� times the pool diameter, and shepards crook pole
must be provided and maintained with the pool at all times.
