perature, and latitude. For exemple, the factor for an S window,

is 23 Bfu per hour per square foot sash erea.
Eeter fhis feetor in the "Fae+or" eolumn. Then, for eeeh room,

6. PEOPLE The sensible heafi gain from people is estimafed at 300
Btu per hour per person. It is general preeliee to inelude 4he
en4ire peaple load in one room, usually the living room.
Count the number of sleeping aecommodations, enter this number
in the "Quant'�1y" column under Ihe living room, and muitiply by
300 fo obfein the "Btu/hr". '
7. COOKING—The average sensible heat gain from cooking end
appliences is esfimeted at 1200 Btu per hour. This is added fio
the ki+ehen loed, and is already pri�ed in +he "Btu/hr" eolumn.
