Qarna asked t�ahy t��e petitioner had come up with an overall length of 32 ft. a� opposed to tl�e 26 ft. depth of the house. i1r. IJerner sta�ed the reason t,ras r�ainly for size. They want to make it a larger and nicer house. t'r. Clark stated there was an existing fireplace that !1r. llerner planned to keep. If lie had to pull in the ti�all, it vrould be pretty close to the fire- place, and a fireplace was difficult to move. hts. Savage stated this house did appear to be smaller than t��e neighboring houses. �4r. Barna stated he wished they had some guidelines for people to follow ►•�hen statirig tf�e hardship. I�e stated in this case, the houses �vere built on an east to west line. The street did not run on an east to r�est line, anrl the property lines were not perpendicular to the east to west line. All the houses were in a row, but the property lines were not perpendicular to the street.
