According to my calculations, the existing garage wall which is the load bearing wall for the clearspan scissors roof framing over these units must be temporarily shored in order to complete the repair and replacement of the deteriorated and rotted wood framing. I propose a scheme using a minimum of six (6) shoring beams with adjustable posts as indicated on the attached drawings. The temporary shoring wil°1 adequately support the end wall and roof framing and allow access for the recommended repairs. The utits can remain occupied while the shoring is in place. I recommend the following procedure: REMOVE TF� GYPSUM BOARD CEILING IN THE GARAGE BACK TO 'I'I� FIRST FLOOR TRUSS. CUT ANY ACCESS HOLES THAT MAY BE .REQUIltED IN ORDER TO IIYST.ALL 'THE TEMPORARY SHORING BEAMS AS SHOWN.
