Re: Junked, Street Inoperable Veh:i.cles Stor•ed at 5704 Jackson Street I1. E.
Dear Plr. Schack:
It was confirmed by an on-site inspection on August 23, 1979 that you were
mainta.ining a 1960 Chevrolet, expired license #BL 5671, and a Ford sta.tion
wagon,_with expired plates, on the above listed property in a junked, street
inoperable condition.
Chapter 123 of the Fridley City Code requires that all vehicles in ths City
be currently licensed and in a street operable condit.on. An alternative
is to store said vehicles wi.thi.n a building or at an apprved location, e. g.
a licensed junk yard. _
Therefore, the City must require you to remove said vehicles from your
' property or bring them into compliance with the City Codes by either licensing
' and putting the vehicles in a street operable condition, placing them within
the confines of a building, or removing then to an approved location.
A reinspection will be conducted onor about 5eptember 10, 1979 to deter.n►ine
compliance. We are confident in your cooperation and desire to make Fridley
a better ccanmunity to live in. If any questions or problems result from this
letter, please co ntact me at 571-3450.
Failure to abate said violation may result in this matter being turned over
to the City Prosecutor for his legal consideration.
Sincerely,
a
