Section 2. �he In�pectos of� Buildings shall, before issu�j.ng ar�y permit for the
erection of ariy bu3lding or structure,� or for any add3t�.on to ,ana► e�i.sting build-
iug or structure, or for a.qp al.terations or repaira to any ex�.�ting building or
structure, upon application therefor, require the paqment by the applicent for
such permit of fee$ to the amount herein below set forth and in the moaner hereia
provided to-wi.t:
2.1. For any such permit for the erection of any f3re-proof building, other than
a garage, warehouse, fsctory or grain elenator, or for the erection of an�r fire-
proof addition, for aimilar occupanc�, to a�r existing bu3lding.shall be at the
rate of �.L40 for each one thousand cubic feet, or fract3on thereof, in such
cubica]. contents.
2.2. For any such perm3t for the erect3on of any fireproof garage, warehouse,
factor� or grain elevator, or for the erection of any fireproof addition, for
similar occupancy, to any existing building shall be at the rate of��►]..25 for
