SECTIOP 2. The Inspector of Buildings shall, before issutng aay permit for
the erection of any builc�ing or structure, o� for any addition to any exiating
building or etruc�ure, or for any' a�teiatione or repai�s to aay exiating
building or structure, upon application Chereiore, require the paya►ent by the
applicant for such p�rmit of.fees to the amount herein below Bet.forth.and in
the manner herein provided to•wit;
2.1. For any such permit for the erection of any fire»proof building,
othei than a garage, warehouse, factory or grain elevator, or for the erecCion
of any fire-proof addition, for similar occupaacy, to any eziating building,
ahall:bQ at.the rate of $1.40 for each one thousaad cubic feet,..nr fraction
thereo£, ia such cubical eontents.
2.2 For any such permit for the erection of any�fire-proof garage,
warehous�, factory or grain elevator, or for the erection of any fire»proof
addition, for similar occupancy,'to any exiating building ahall be at the
rate of $1.25 for each•one thousand cubic feet, classified as "fireproof"
by Section 502 of the Minneapo�.ia $uildia� Code.

any non-fireproof addition, for similar occupancy, to any existing building -
permit $1.00 for each one thousand cubic feet. �

2.4. For any such permit for tho erection of anq non-fireproof garage,
warehouse, factory or gr8in elevator, ot for the erectioa of any noa-fire-proof
addition, for similar occupancy,-to any existing bnilding or for each such�
building or asldition - ninetq ceats ($0.90) for each one thous.and cubic feet
or fraction thersof, in the cubical eontents thereof wlth Che minimum of $4.00.
For the purpoae of-computing faea for building perm3ts, the cubical contents
of any bu3lding or addition to a uni£orm height throughout by muZtiplying the
ground area covered fram a poiat six (6) inches below the floor line of the
basement or cellar to the average h��ght of the upper aurface or to the average
height of the roof surface of the main gable of a pitched roof.
2.5. For repairs or alterations to en existing structure, the fee s�tall
be at the rate of $3.00 per each Five.Huridred Dollars ($500.00) or fr�cL3�n

2.6. In no case sha11 the fee charged for any permit as set forth in.
