SECTTOP 2. The Inspector of'��ildings-shall, before iseuing any permit for
the erection of an}r building or etructure.,.or for any addition to any existing
building or structure, or for amy alterationa or repairs to any exiaCin�
building or structure, upon application therefore, require tlie payment by the
applicant for such �ermit of fees to the amount herein below Bet forth and in
the manner herein provided to�wit:
2.1. For any euch permit for the erection of any fire�proof building,
othei than a garage., warehouse, factory or grain elevatoY, or for the erection
of any fire-proof addition, for similar occupancy, to any existiag building,
sha11 be at the rate of $.1.40_for.each one thousand cubic feet, ot fractian
thereof, in.such cubical contenta. � "
2.2 Eor any such permit for the erection of aay fire-proof garage,
warehouee; factory�or grain elevator, or Eor the erection of any fire-prvof
addition, for similar occupancy, to any exist.ing buildiag ahall be at the
raee of $1.2S for each one thousancl cubic feet, classified as "fireproof"
bq Sect3on 502 of the Minneapolis Buildiag Code.

building, other than a garage, warehouse, factorq or �rain elevator, or
any noa-fireproof addition, for similar occupancy, to any existing building �
permit $1.00 for each one thousand cubi:c feet.

warehouse, tactory or grain elevator, or for the erection of a�ty ncra-f3re-proof
addition, for similar occupancy, to any esisting building or for each such
building or add3tion - ninety ceats ($0.90) for each one thoueand cubic feet
or fraation thereof, in the cubical eonteats th�reof with the minimum of $4.00.
For the�purpose of computing fees for buildiag permita, the cubical contenta
of aay building or addition to a uniform heigk�t throughout by multiplying the
ground area covered from a point six (6) inches below the f2oor litte af the
basemeat or cellar to the average h��ght of the upper surface or to the average
height of the roof aurface of the main gable of a pitched roof.
-. 2,_5. For repaira or alterations to an existing structure, the fee shall
be at the rate of $3.00 per each Five Sundred Dollars�($Sd0.00) or frac�icn
thereof in the cost of all proposecY work.
2.6. In no case shall the fee charged for any permit as set forth in
Section 2 be less than $4.00.

of any building or structure, or for any addition to any existing building or structure,
or for any alteration or repairs to any existing builditig or structure, upon application
therefore, require the payment by the applicant for such perniit oi fees to the amount
herein below set forth and in the manner herein provided to-wit:
NEW CONSTRUCTION: Single Fami].y Homes and Garages: $4.00/1,000 cubic fee�.

DRIVEWAY DEPRESSION: (Concrete Curb Streets Only)
Alternate A: Removal and replacement of concrete curb and
gutter only; Driveway widtYi plus 6 feet x$14.50
Alternate B: Removal and replacement o£ concrete curb and
gutter and install a 3 foot wide approach with

For the purpose of computing fees for building perniits, the cubical,contents of any
building or addition, is determined by multiplying the ground area covered from a
point six (6) inches below the floor line of the basement or the cellar to the
average heights of the upper surface or to the average height of .the roof surface

Fox repairs or alterations to an existing structure, the fee shall be at the rate
of $3 .00 �ier each five hundred dollars -($500.00) or fraction thereof in irhe cost
of all proposed worlc. �
In•na case shall the fee charged for any permit as set forth in Section 2 be less
i:han $7.50 plus $.50 state surcharge.
VERIFICATIO� OF FOUNDATION
NOTE: Permits for construction will be issued a minimtun of 24 hours from the time
of application to allow for proper review of the proposed structure and of the
construction site. •
A Certificate of Suxvey of the lot, showing the location of the foundation once it
has been constructed will be required iiefore proceeding with the framing.

use or occugancy of any structure for which a building permit has been issued; and

Dear Ms. Troutman:
A plumbing permit was issued on December 1, 1999 to install a water heater at your address.
According to section 4715.2800 of the State Plumbing Code, a final inspection shall be conducted
on the plumbing authorized by this permit. As of this date, no inspection has been called for.
The permit fee paid covers the inspector's time to make sure the appliance was installed
conectly. We also check to make sure combustion air has been installed and that the vent and
vent connectors have been sized properly.
If you would like the installation inspected, please contact us within 30 days to anange the
inspection. If we do not hear from you, we will expire the pernut and note that no inspections
were called for.
