BUILDII�TG PEP.MIT FEE SCHEDULE
Section 2. The �nspector of Buildin�s shall, before isauing any permit for
the erectioa of anq buildiag or structure, or for aay addition to anq exist-
ing-buildiag or structure, or for any alter�tioas or repai�s to any egisting
building or s�ructure, upcn application therefor, require the payment by ehe
applicant for such permit of fees to the amount hereia below set forth and
in the manaer herein provided Co-wit:
2.1. For any such permit for the erection o.f any fire-proof building, other
than a garages warehouae, fgctory or grain elevator, or for the erection of
any fire-proof addiCion, for similar occupaacy, to any enisting building
shall be et the rate of $1.40 for each oae thousand cubic feet, or fraction
thereof. in such cubical coatenta.
2.2. Eor.any such permit for the erection of any fire-proof garage, werehouse,_
factory or grain elevator, or for Che erection of aay fire-proaf et�d3tion,
for simi.lar accupancy, to any existing buildiag shall be at the rate of $1.25
for each one thousand cubic ieet, clasaified as t1fireproof" by Section 502 of
the Minueapolis Huildiag Code.

2.3. For �ny such permit for the erection of any aon-firepraof buildiag othes
thaa a garage, warehouae, facto�y or grain elevator, or aaq non-fireproaf
addition, for si.milar occupancy, to an�► existiag building - permit $1.00 for
each one thousand cubic feet.
GARAGES
2.4. For any such permit for the erection of any aon-firepraof gara�e, -
warehouse, factory or graia elevator, or for the erectioa of•any non-fireps�oof
additioa,-�or--Bimilar occupaacy, �o aaq existing building or for each such
-bui].ding or addir3on - ninety cents :($Q.90) for each one thou�and cubic feet
or fracCion thereof, in the cubical ccatents thereof with a minimum of $4.OQ.-
For the purpose of ca�mguting fees for building permits, Che cubical corrtents
of any building or additioa to a uniform height throughout by multiplying the
ground area covered from a poinC sis (6) inches below the floor line of the .
basement or cellar t�a the average-height of the upper aurfa�e or to the
average height of the r@of �urface of the maim gable of a pitched roof.
2.5. For repa3,rs or alteratione to aa euis�ing structwce, the fee ahall be
at the rate of $3.00 per each Five Suadred Doliars ($500.00) or fraction
thereo€ in the cost of all progosed work.
2.b. In no case shal.l the fee�.cliarged for.8ny-permit� as �at forth in
Section 2 be lesa than $4.00.

Plan Review af Private Pool

Plan Review :
1. Provide two inlets, as a minimum. One inlet should "sweep" interior steps
area 3n shallow end. I assume a ladder will be provided in deep end.
2. A backflow preventer must be provided on water line to outside spigot if hose
is used to fill or add water to pool.
3. Provide a 4 foot fence, at least, with self closing and self latching gatea.
This includes any doors through the garage.
4. Diving board height above water must be between 0-11 inches with a 7 foot
6 inch depth.
5. Provide depth ma.rkers around edge of poole
6. Provide a mi.nimum of a 3 foot deck, sloped away from pool, around the pool.
7. All electrical sha11 be approved by the electrical inspector.
8. Provide some safety equipment such as a pole or honk and a life buoy with a
rope.
9. Provide a devise to add chlorine to pool water. Use a test kit a.nd keep
chlorine in water.
