BUILDING PEP.NQT FEE SCHEDULE
Section 2. The Inspec�or of Buildin�s shall, before iasuing any permit for
the erection of any building or structure, or for any additioa to any exfst-
ing bu3lding or atrucCure, or for any alterationa or repairs to any es3sting
building or structure, upon application therefor, require the payment by the
applicant for such permit of fees to the amount hereia below �et forth and
in the manner herein prov�Lded to-wit:
2.1. For aay such permit for the erection o.f any fire-proof building, othar
than a garage� warehouse, factory or gr�in elevator, or.for the erectioa of
aay fire-proof addition, for aimilar occupaacy, to any �xisting building
shall be aC the rate of $1.40 for each oae thousaad cubic feet, or fraction
thereof, in such cubic�l coatents.
2� For any such permit for the erecCion.of any fire-proof garage, warei�ouse,�
f�ctory or grain elevator, or for the erectioa of any fire-proot �dd3t3on,
for similar accupancy, ta any exiatiug buildiag shali be at the rate of $1.25
for each one thousand cubic feet, classified as "fireproaf" by Section 502 of
the M3naea.polis Building Code. .

2.3. For �ny such permit for the erection of any tnon-fireproof buildiaig other
than a garage, warehouse, factorq or grain elevator, or any non-fireproof
addition, for similar occupancy, to any exiatia� building - permit $1.00 for
each one thousand cubic feet.
GARAGES
2.4. For anq such perm�Lt for the erectioa of any non-fireproof gara�e,
warehouae, factory or grain elevator, or for Che erect�toa of any non-fireproaf
additioa, -€ar--s3.milar occupancy, to ang esi�ting building or for each such
,_... -building or add3tion - aiaety cents ($0:90) for each oae thou�and cubic feet
or fra¢tion ehereof, in the cubical contents thereof with a minimvm of $4.04.-
For the purpose of camgutiag fees for building permits, titi� cubical cot�tents
of any building or addition to a uniform he3ghC throughouC by multip�ying the
g�ound area covered from a point si� (6) iachea below the floor line of the ,
basement or cellar to the average height of the upper surface �r to the
avera�e height of the r@of surface of the maim gable of a pitched roof.
2.5. For repairs or alterationa to an exiating structuxe, the fee ahall be
at the rate of $3.00 per each Five Sundred Dollara ($SOO.eOj or frac�ion
thereof 3n the cost of all•propoaed work.
2.6 . In no case shall the fee. .cliarged for . any permit� -as set forth in
Section 2 be lesa thaa $4,D0.
