A dedicated alley does exist behind your home and those of your neighbors. I am told that
Fridley city officials have no intention of placing an alley behind your homes. According to City
policy, if several of your neighbors were to request that no alley should ever be buiit, it is likely
that the City would then vacate their interest in the alley. My understanding is that the effect of
this action would be to terminate the City's interest and ability to establish an alley in this
location.
