SECTION 2. The Inspector of Buildi.ngs shall, before issuing pexmits for the
erection o� any building or structure, or for any addition to any existing
building or structure, or for any alteration or repairs to any existing
building or structure,�upon application theref�xe, require the payment by the
applicant fox such permit of fees to the amount herein below set forth and in
the manner herein provided to-wit;
TTNIFORM BUILDING CODE: Type 1, 2& 4-$2,15 for each one thousand cubic
feet, or fraction thereof, in such cubical contents. Type 3& 5-$1.85 for
each one thousand cubic feet.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
�or the purpose of computir.g fees for building permits, the cubical contents
of any building �r addition, is determined by multiplying the ground area
covered from a point six (6) inches below the floor line of the basement
ox the cellar to the average heights of the upper surface.or��o the average.,-
height of the roof surface of the main gable of a pitched roof.
For repairs or alterations to an existing structure, the fee shall be at the
rate of $3.00 per each f�ve hundred dollars ($500e00) or fraction thereof in
the cost of all prop•osed work.
In no case shall the fee charged for any permit as set forth in Section 2 be
less than $5.00.
VERIFICATION OF FOUNDATION
NOTE: Permits for construction will be issued a minimum of 24 hours from the
time of application, to allow for proper review of the proposed structure and
of the construction site.

A Certified Survey of the lot, showing the location of the foundation, once it
has been constructed, will be required before proceeding with the fxaming.
CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY
Application for a Certificate of Occupancy shall be made ten (10) da.ys prior
to the use or occugancy of any structure for which a building permit has been
. issued; and said structure shall not be used or occupied until a Certificate
of Occupancy has been issued.

Re: Intersection Vision Safety Zone Obstruction

In order to provide safe passage for vehicular and pedestrian
traffic in the City of Fridley, periodic inspections of street
intersections are conducted. An inspection on August 18, 1982 has
determined that the sightline for the intersection on your property
is obstructed and oould present a hazard to traffic.
Sectfon 205.154 of the City Ca]e requires that, "On a corner lot in
a vision safety control zone, nothing shall be erected, placecl,
planted or allawed to grow in sucti a manner as to impede vision....
the vision safety control zone is c]escribed as follows: That area
bounded by the street right of way lines of a corner lot and a
straight line joining points on said right of way lines twenty five
(25) feet fram the intersection af said right of v�raay lines."
Therefore, the City is requesting you, the property owner, to
correct the follawing problen and to make the City's streets safer
for travel. A reinspection will be conducted on or about August 3 0,
1982 to deterniine canpliance.
We are conficlent in your cooperation to correct this problem, but if
there is any problen with the interpretation of this letter, please
feel free to call on me at 571 3450.
