SECTiOP 2. The Ittspector of Suildings.shall, before issu4ag anq permit for
the erect3on of any building or strucCure, or for any addition to any esistin�
building or structure, or for any altexations or repairs to any existing
building or etructure, upon application therefore, require the payment by the
applicant.for such permit of fees to the amount herein below 8et forth and in
the manner herein provided to-wit:
2.1. For any such permit fbr the erection of any fire-proof building,
other than a garage, warehouse, factory or grgin elevator, or for the erection
of any fire-proof addition, for similat occupancy, to any esiating building,
shall be at the raCe of $i.40 for each one thol�eand cubic feet, or fraction
thereof, in such cubical contents.
2�.2� For any auch parmit for the erection of ang'fire-proof garage,
warehouse; factory or graia elevator, or fos' the erection of any fire•proof
additioa, for similar occupancy, to an�,esietiag building shall be at the
rat��of $1.25 for each one thousand cubic feet, claesified as "fireproof"
