Upon an inspection of fa330 Jefferson Street, a parked vehicle was not observed in the front yard.
Staff did, however, document an outside storage violation in the side yard and a vehicle paricing
violation in the rear yard. � �
Outside StoraQe �
Several dlrome vehicle body parts were stacked along the north side of the garag�. These mat�rials
are improperly stored and should be placed in a storage building or screened from the public �ight-
of-way. Notice was sent to ihe property owner regarding this aspect of the site conditions.
Vehicle Parkin4 �
The general location o# the vehicles in the r�ar yard has led staff to believe that the vehicles may nof
be parked on an approved hard surface. The property owner has been notified about the vehicle �
parking requirements and will be directed to place the vehicles in a storage garage or on an
approved hard surface.
Imoortant Enforcement Note
In situations such as this, it is extremely difficult to verify with certainty the road worthiness of a
arehicle. Staff did attempt to access the rear yard by contacting the homeowner. Unfortunately, no
one was home at the time of the inspection. �thout an invitation into the rear yard, staff must rely
on information provided by the complainant or send a letter assuming condition or license status
deficiency. At this time, staff will be taking steps to correct the parking and outside storage violations
within the standard 15-day code enforcement notification period. A noncompliance notice letter has
been sent, and the 15 day reinspection schedule has been set. Staff will proceed in the manner
necessary after the October 16, 199fi, reinspection date.

The Cluef Building Official shall, before issuing permits for the erection of any building or structure, or for any
addition to any existing building or structure, or for any alteration or repair to any existing building or
structure, upon application therefore, require the payment by the applicant for such permit of fees to the amount
herein below set forth and in the manner herein provided to-wit:

CURB CUT ESCROW

Permits for construction will be issued a minimum of 24 hours from the time of application to allow for proper
