auch permit of fees to the emount hereia bel.ow aet forth and in the aaenner hersin
provided ta-wit:
2.1., For any such permit for the erect3.on of any firer-proof buildin�, other than
a ger�ge, warehouae, factory or grain elevator, or for the erection of an�r fire-
proaf addition, for aimilar occupenc�, to any existing building shall be.ai the
rate of �7..1M0 for each one ihousand cubic feet, or fraction thereof, in such
cubical contenta.
2.2. For an� such permit for the erection of ang fireproof �ar�.ge, warehouse�
factory or grain elevator, or for the erection o� any fireproof addition, fcr
si.m�las occupancy, to any existing building ahall be at the rate of $]..25 for
each one thousand cubic feet, classified as °firepraof'� by Section 502 of the
Minne�polis Building Code.

2.3. For any auch parmit for the erection of anar non-fireproof building other
than a garage, warehouae, factory or grain elevator, or any nor�-fireproof
addition, for sim3lar occupaney, to any existing building. Permit �]..QO for
each one thousand cubic feet.
GAR.AGES
2.1�. For any such permit for the erection of an� norr-fireproof garage, warehouse,
factory or grain elevator, or for the erection of an�r nor� fireproof addition, for
s3.mi].ar occupancy, to any existing building or for each such building or addition.
Ninety Cents for each one thousand cubic feet or iraction therecf, in the cubicel
con�ents thereof with a minimum of $I�.00.
For the purpoee of computing feea for building permits the cubicel contenta of any
building or addition to a un3form height throu�hout by multiplying the ground area
covered from a po3nt_aix (6) inches below the floor line of the basement or cellar
to the avera�e height of the upper surface or to the avera�e height of the roof
surface of �he ma:iri gable of a pitched raof.
2.5. For repairs or alterations to an exist3ng structure, the fee ahell be e.t the
rate of �3.00 for ea.ch Five �Iuucl�'ed Dollaxs (�500.00), or fraction thereof in the
cost of a11 prQposed:work., '. "
2.6. In no case shall the fee chargad for any permit as set fortln in Section 2 be

SECTION 2. The InspecCor of Buildings shall, before issuing permits for the
erection of any building or structure, or for any addition to any existing
building or structure, or for any a].teration or repairs to any existing
building or structure, upon application therefore, require the payment by the
applicant for such permit of fees to the amount herein below set forth and in
the ma.nner herein provided to-wit:

PLAN CHECK: 25 percent of building permit fee.
ADDITIONAL INFOR�:ATION
For the purpose of computing fees for building permits, the cubical contents
of any building or addition, is determined by multiplying the ground area
covered from a point six (6) inches Uelow the floor line of the basement
or the cellar to the average heigh�s of the upper surface or to the average:�
height of the roof surface of the ma.in gable of a pitched roof.
For repairs or alterations to an �isting structure, the fee shall be at the
rate.�f $3.00 per each five hundred dollars ($500.00) or fraction thereof in
the cost af all proposed �aork.
Tn no case shall the fee charged for any permit as set forth in Section 2 be
less than $i.50.
VERIFICATION OF FOUNDATION
NOTE: Permits for construction will be issued a minimum of 24 hours from the
L-ime of application, to allow for proper review of the pxoposed structure and
of the construction site.
A Certified Survey of the lot, showing the location of the foundation, once it
has been constxucted, will be required before pxoceeding with the framing.
CERTIFICIITE OF OCCUPANCY
Application for a Certificate of Occupancy shall be ma.de ten (10) days prior
to the use or occupancy of any structure for which a building permit has been
� issued; and said structure shall not be used or occup�ed until a Certificate
of Occupancya has been issued. ,
