Dear Mr. Johnson:
Per Minnesota Statute 15.99, local government units are required to notify land use
applicants within 10 working da�rs if their land use applications are complete. We
officially received your application for a special use permit on July 3, 2003. This letter
serves to inform you that your special use permit is not complete and is being returned
to you for completion. ,
Upon full review of your application, it was determined that you are missing information
considered necessary to act upon your request. Structurally engineered plans are
needed for the foundation of the proposed structure and retaining walls. Elevations of
the existing and proposed grades are also required to be able to properly act upon your
request. It has also come to our attention that you will also need to apply for variance,
because with the proposed structure, your total square footage is over the 1,400 square
foot maximum for accessory structures.
I have enclosed an additional development review schedule for the Planning
Commission, so you can re-submit a complete application and plan the meeting dates
accordingly.
The City has initiated the process to refund your special use permit application fee.
