BUILDING PERMIT FEE SCHEDULE
SECTION 2. The Inspector of Buildings shall, before issuing pe=mits for the
erection of any building or structure, or for any addition to any existing
building or structure, or for any alteration or repairs to any existing
building or structure, upon application therefore, require the payment by the
applicant for such p�imit of fees to the amount herein below set forth and in
the manner herein provided to-wit:
LTNIFORM BUILDING CODE: 1j►pe 1, 2� 4-$2.15 for each one thousaad cubic
fee�, ox £raction thereof, ia such cubical contents. Type 3� 5-$1.85 for
each one thousand cubic feet.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Fox the purpo�ge of computing fees for building permite, the cubical contents
of atiy building or addition, ie determined by multiplying the ground area
covsxed fxom a poin� six (6) inches below the floor line of the basement
or Che cellar to the avera,ge heighte of the upper surface oz to the average�
h�i�t o� Che roof surface of the mnin gable of a pitched roof.
For x�epa3.rs or alterations to an existing structure, the fee ahall be at the
rate of $3.00 per each five hundred dollars ($500.00) or fraction therecf in
the cost of all proposed work.

Dear Ms. Moen:
A mechanical permit was issued on May 1, 2003 to change the flue for the boiler and hot water
heater at your address. A final inspection on May 5, 2003 noted the following correction which
needs to be corrected before we can final the permit:
Remove the exterior boxing in of the chimney.
The permit fee that was paid covers the inspection to make sure the work was completed
according to the Codes. We will keep your pemut open for another 30 days and if we do not
hear from you within this time to set up the inspection, we will mark the permit "no inspection
called for by homeowner after notification" and the permit will be expired.
