SECTION 2. The Inspector of BuiZdfngs shall, before issuing permits for
the erection of �ny building or structure, o� for any addition to any
existing structure or building, or for any air�•�ation or repairs to any
existing building or structure, upon applicatiou therefare, require the
the payuient by the applicant for such permit of fees to the amount herein
below set forth and in the manner herin provided to-wit:
Uniform Buildin� Code: Type I, 2, fx 4- $1.75 for each one thousand cubic
feet, or fractioA thereof, in sueh cubical contents. Type 3� S- $1.50 for
esch one thousand cubic feet.
For the purp,ose of enmputing fees for building permits, the cubical
contents of any building or addition to a uniform height throughout by
multiplying the ground area covered fram a point six (b) inches beZaw the f2oa�
line of the basement or the cellar to the average height of the upper surface
or t� the average height of the roof surface of the main gable of a
pitched roof. _
FAr repairs or alterations �o an existi�g structure, tha fee shall be at the
rate of $3.00 per each five hundred dollars ($500.OQ) or fraction thareof
in the cost e�f all proposed work.
In no case shall the fee charged for any permit as set fa�h in Section 2 be
leas than $5.00.
