ments for bids upon the making of such improvements
under such approved plans and specifications. The ad-.
vertisement shall be published for 3 weeks (at least
21 days), and shall specify the work to be done and
will state that bids will be opened and considered at
12:00 o'clock, Noon, on the 3rd day of May, 1960, in
the Council chambers of the City Hall, and that no bids
will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City
Clerk, and accompanied by a cash deposit, bid bond, or '
certified check payable to the City for five per cent
(5 %) of the amount of such bid. That the advertisement

NO. 26 -1960 shall be substantially in form as that noted
in Exhibit "B" attached hereto for reference and made a
part hereof.

RESOLUTION NO. 29 - 1960
A RESOLUTION CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE MATTER OF
THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS: (GLEN CREEK ROAD)
WHEREAS, the construction of certain improvements is deemed
to be in the interest of the City of Fridley and the property
owners affected thereby.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fridley,
as follows:
1. That this Council will meet on the 19th day of April
1960, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. at the City Hall in -the
City of Fridley for the purpose of holding a Public
Hearing on the improvements noted in the Notice at-
tached hereto and made a part hereof by reference,
Exhibit "A ".
2. That the area Droposed to be assessed for said im-
provements and each of them as noted in said notice
are all the lands and areas as noted in said notice:
all of the same to be assessed proportionately ac-
cording to the benefits received.
3. That the City Manager is authorized and directed to
give notice of such public hearing by publishing a
notice thereof in the official newspaper of the City
of Fridley according to law, such notice to be sub-
stantially in the form and substance of the notice
attached hereto as Exhibit "A ".

NOTICE OF hrARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County,
Minnesota has deemed it necessary and expedient that the improvement
hereinafter described be made.
NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HE3EBY GIVEN THAT on the 19th day of
April, 1960, at 7:30 o'clock P.M., the City Council will meet in the
City Hall in said City, and will at said time and place, hear all
parties interested in said improvement in whole or in part.
The general nature of the improvement is the construction of the
following improvement, to wit:

Storm Water Drainage Pipe, Manholes, Catch Basins, and appurten-
ances, serving the following area:
Oak Creek Addition, Plat 2, Oak Creek Addition, and Lots 36 & 38
Auditor's Subdivision No. W.

THAT THE AREA PROPOSED TO BE ASSESSED FOR SAID IMPROVEMENT IS AS
FOLLOWS - --
All of the lands abutting upon said streets named above or loc-
sted in the proposed plat of Oak Creek. Addition, Plat 2, Oak
Creek Addition, and Lots 36 and 38, Auditor's Subdivision No. 77.
All of said lands to be assessed proportionately according to
the benefits received by such improvement.
That the Council proposes to proceed with each of said improve-
' ments as separate improvements, except as hereafter otherwise pro-
vided by the Council all under the following authority, to wit:
Minnesota Laws 1953, Chapter 398 and laws amendatory thereof, and in
conformity with the City Charter.
