CITY OF FRIDLEY
NOTICE TO BID POLICE
PATROL CARS
The City Council of the City of Fridley, will accept bids
on two Police Cars on the 5th day of February, 1.962, until
8:00 P.M., on said date. All bids must meet tre minimum
requirements of the specifications. Failure to comply with
this section can result in disqualification of the bid.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or
bid bond in an amount of not less than 01 of the bid, which
check or bond shall be forfeited if the bidder neglects or
refuses to enter into a contract, or to furnish a 100% per-
formance bond after his bid has been accepted.
The City reserves the right to accept the bid which is
determined to be in the best interest of the City. The City
reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and waive all
informalities or technicalities in any bid.
The City Council also reserves the right to consider
such factors as the time of delivery or performance, exper-
ience and responsibility of the bidder, past performance of
similar types of item or material, availability of replace -
ment parts, and other similar factors that it may determine
in the best interest of the City.
®opies of the specifications and general conditions may
be examined in the office of the City Manager, or copies may
be obtained from his office.
All bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes and plainly
marked on the outside that the contents is a bid on Police
Cars.

3. The purchase of said items and materials as described
above shall be effected by sealed bids to be received
and opened by the City of Fridley on the 15th day of
January, 1962. The City Manager is directed and author-
ized to advertise for the purchase of said items and
materials by sealed bid proposals under notice as pro -
vided by law and the Charter of the City of Fridley,
the notice to be substantially in form as that shown
by Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part of by
reference. Said notice shall be published at least
twice in the official newspaper of the City of Fridley.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 2ND DAY OF JANUARY, 1962 BY THE
CITY COUNCIL.

A RESOLUTION TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR TWO POLICE CARS'.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Fridley as follows:
1. That it is in the interest of the City to purchase the
following items or materials:
TWO POLICE PATROL CARS
2. A copy of the plans and specifications for the above
_ described items and materials, together with a proposal
for the method of purchase and the payment thereof have
been presented to the Council by the City Manager and
the same are hereby approved and adopted as the plans
and specifications, and the method of acquisition and
payment to be required by the City with respect to the
acquisition of said items and materials.
3. The purchase of said items and materials as described
above shall be effected by sealed bids to be received
and opened by the City Council on the 5th day of
February, 1962. The City Manager is directed and
authorized to advertise for the purchase of said items
and materials by sealed bid proposals under notice as
provided by law and the Charter of the City of Fridley,
the notice to be substantially in form as that shown by
Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part of by
reference. Said notice shall be published at least
15 days or through two (2) publications in the official
newspaper of the City of Fridley.
