registration is Jtuze 17, 3Wo swimming instructors will worlc 9- 50
They will teach older girls synchronized stviimning and water balle�,
and o�ill offer swimning instructions for adulta every afternoon
during the 6 week aummer program. Fee for this is $1.00. Headquarters
for the Fridley RecreaEion Summer Program is at Hayes School annex.
BERRY°S REPORT•
12 Peei4ee and 4 Midget teams have been playing ior 2 weeks. Games
are Monday throuqh Thursday evenings. i0 qames each week. Umpire's
clinic will be within 2 vveeks. A July clinic for players is being
arranged, About half of equipment has been received.

6 good musicians have inquired about joining the band> 7.'he band will
give a conaert June 29 in the parking lot a� Fridley High School, and
a concert JLtly 20 in the gymnasium at Fridley High School. Mr.
Messick and Mrs. Palerron will i.nstruct F9r. Fredrick about getting his
salaxy and purchasing music aa►d will notiiy the City Clerk about our
allotment for municipal band.
BUDGET DISCUSSION:
Discussion about �vater safety beach director and assistant. Milcarek
said the parks and Playgrounds Coaanittee feels that this is a full
season jobo Our responsibility is for the 6 weeks summer program
only. Decided to retain in budget. Sudget has been approved by the
School Board.
