Res 2002-76 RESOLUTION NO. 76 -2002
RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE DESIGN FOR THE EXTENSION OF 62ND WAY
WEST OF RIVERVIEW TERRACE
WHEREAS, the proposed street width for the extension of 62nd Way is less than the City's
established policy standard of 30 feet, and

WHEREAS, the Engineering staff of the City recommends, nevertheless, the utilization of
national and locally accepted standards, and
WHEREAS, that, after careful review of the facts and circumstances herein, the City Council has
determined that the best interest of the adjacent residents and the City is to construct the street
extension to a substandard design width and not in accordance with the larger configuration of
national and locally accepted standards.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka
County, Minnesota, as follows: The Engineering staff and Department of Public Works be and is
directed to design the proposed street extension of 62nd Way at an overall width of 13 feet face of
