The meeting was called to order by Chairman Hughes at 8:10 P,A1. ,

Road Stabilization Pro�ess
MOTION by bunphy, seconded by Fitzpatrick, that department advertise for bids �
on stabilizing the parking lots at Moore Lake Beach, The Commons Park and Locke ,
Fark, excluding the roadway into Locke Park. The Motion Carried.
Park Land Acquisition and Development Program I
A proposal of Park Land Acquisition and Development was presented to the
Commission by the Director and Mr. Ed Braddock, Park Consultant. Commissi.on then ,
studied and discussed the proposal and worked out a final draft for the City Coun-
cil's consideration. See attached addendum. . I'

h10TI0N by Dunphy, seconded by Cochran, that the Park Land Acnuisition and
Development Program totaling '1,299,500.00 be presented to the City Council with
the recommendation of the Fridley Parks and Recreation Commission for its imple-
mentation. The Motion Carried.

The meeting was adjourned at 11:00 P.M.
A Special. Parks and Recreation Commission Meeting along with the City Council,
will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 1967, at 7:30 P.M, at the Fridley
City Hall.

P.M. at Fridley City Hall.
