Res 1997-12 ©Qo "7 III RESOLUTION NO. 12 - 1997 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SIGNAL INTERCONNECT AGREEMENT NO. 75720 WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) proposes to install an improved interconnect system for traffic control along Trunk Highway 65, and WHEREAS, the City's participation in the project is estimated in the amount of $16,243.20, and WHEREAS, it is in the City's best interest to support the safety and traffic improvements for Trunk Highway traffic. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, enter into an agreement with the State of Minnesota Department of Transportation to install traffic control signal interconnect on Trunk Highway 65 from County State Aid Highway No. 35 (Central Avenue) , West Moore Lake Drive - West Moore Lake Drive to County State Aid Highway No. 10 (89th Avenue NE) , and in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth and contained in agreement No. 75720, a copy of which was before the City Council. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT, the City Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to execute such agreement and thereby assumed for and on behalf of III the City, all of the contract obligations contained therein.
