Res 1963-117 102 RESOLUTION NO. 117-1963 A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER THE NECESSITY FOR SPECIAL TAXES AND FOR ADDITIONAL TAX LEVIES IN EXCESS OF NORMAL CITY CHARTER TAX LIMITS. BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Fridley as follows: WHERFAS, it appears that the 1964 Budget will require funds in addition to the normal levy of 30 mills in order to provide adequate and necessary money for Firemen's Relief, debt service on Water and Parks Bonds, Contribution to the Public Employees Retirement Fund, and for the General Fund. NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to Section 7.02 of the City Charter, a public hearing to consider such a necessity will be held at the Fridley City Hall in the Council Chambers on September 16, 1963 at 8:00 o'clock P.M. Notice of such a hearing shall be given by three (3) weeks published notice in the Fridley News on August 14, 21, and 28, 1963. RESOLUTION NO. 118-1963 RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING A HEARING STORM SEWER #5 Pursuant to due call and Notice thereof, a meeting of the Council Th of the City of Fridley, was duly held at the City Hall on the 5th day of August, 1963, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. The following members were present: Mayor Nee, Councilmen Sheridan, Wolke, Johanson, Brook. The following members were absent: none Councilman Wolke introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: A RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 118-1963. WHEREAS, a report has been given by Comstock and Davis, Inc., Consulting Engineers to the Council on August 5, 1963, with reference to the following improvement: Highway #694 outfall project and North University Avenue Storm Drainage project, being Storm Sewer No. 5 for an ara bounded as follows: Commencing at a point on the Westerly right-of-way line of the Great Northern Railway and Northern Pacific Railway as it would be intev- cepted by the Southerly portion of 49th Avenue N.E., extended; thence running along 49th Avenue N.E. extended and 49th Avenue to University Avenue N.E.; thence along the South corporate limits of the City Easterly from University Avenue to the East corporate limits of the City; thence Northerly along the East City boundary to Highway #694 (Highway #100); thence westerly along said Highway #694 to the inter- section with Trunk Highway #65; thence North along the Westerly edge of said Trunk Highway #65 to the bouth entrance of West Moore Lake Drive; thence along West Moore Lake Drive and Quincy Street to 61st Avenue N. .; thence Westerly along 61st Avenue N.E. to the inter-
