office of the County Auditor of Anoka County a certified state-
ment of the amount of all of such unpaid assessments and the
amount which will be due thereon on the 1st day of January in
each year.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was
duly seconded by Councilman Sheridan, and upon vote being taken
thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Nee, Wake,
Brook, Johanson and Sheridan.

A RESOLUTION RECEIVING THE PRELIMINARY REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC
HEARING ON THE MATTER OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS:
CONGA CURB AND GUTTER CSAH #35 ( ST. 1963-2 )
WEMEAS, the Construction of certain improvements is deemed to
be in the interst of the City of Fridley and the property owners
affected thereby.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fridley, as
follows:
1. That the preliminary report submitted by the Anoka County Engin-
eer is hereby received and accepted.
2. That this Council will meet on the 18th day of November, 1963,
at 8:00 o'clock P.M., at the City Hall in the City of Fridley
for the purpose of holding a Public Hearing on the improvement
noted in the Notice attached hereto and made a part thereof by
reference, Exhibit "A". .

3. That the area proposed to be assessed for said improvements
and each of them as noted in said notice are all the lands and
areas as noted in said notice: All of the same to be assessed
proportionately according to the benefits received.
4• That the City Manager is authorized and directed to give notice
of such Public Hearing by publishing a notice thereof in the
official newspaper of the City of Fridley according to law, such
notice to be substantially in the form and substance of this

NOTICE OF HEARING ON IPPROVEMENIS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County,
Minnesota, has deemed it necessary and expedient that the improvements
hereinafter described be made.
NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on the lgth day of
November, 1963 at 8:00 o'clock P.M. , the City Council will meet at the
City Hall in said City, and will at said time, and place hear all part-
ies interested in said improvements in whole or in part.
The general nature of the improvements is the construction (in the
lands and streets noted below) of the following improvements, to—wit:
CONSTRUCTION ITEM
A. Concrete curb and gutter located in all of the following streets
and serving all of the area described as follows:
T. Old Central Avenue Northeast (CSAH No. 35) from Mississippi
Street Northeast (CSAH No. 6) to Osborne Road Northeast
(CSAH No. 8)
THAT THE TOTAL EST NA-ED COST OF SAID IMPROVEMENT IS: :1500.00
That the area proposed to be assessed for said improvement is
as follows:
For construction Item A, above:
All of the land abutting upon said streets named above and all
lands adjacent and abutting thereto.
All of said land to be assessed proportionately according to the
benefits received by such improvements.
That the Council proposed to proceed with each of said improve-
ments as separate improvements, except as hereafter otherwise provided
by the Council all under the following authority, torvit: Minnesota
Laws 1961, Chapter h29 and laws amendatory thereof, and in conformity
with the City Charter.
