RESCIUTION DESIGT1TING POLLING PLACES AND 'ELECTION JUDGES
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, By the ,City L'ouncil of the City
of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, at a regular meeting thereof on
October 7, 1963,
SECTION 1: That on the 5th day of November, 1963, there shall be
a City Election for the purpose of voting on the following:
ELECTION OF: Municipal Judge
Special Judge
Councilman, 1st Ward
Councilman, 3rd Ward
SECTION 2: That the polling places for said election shall be as
follows:
Ward 1, Precinct 1 Woodcrest Elementary School
Ward 1, Precinct 2 Hayes Elementary School
Ward 2 Fridley Junior High School
Ward 3 Fridley City Hall
SECTION ,: That the polling places will be open from 7:00 A.N.
to 8:00 P.M.
SECTION That the following people are hereby appointed to act
as judges for said election except that the City Clerk
is hereby authorized to appoint qualified substitutes in cases of
conflict or interest as set forth in Chapter 4, Section 4.05 of the
City Charter.

A 7-SOLUTION MAKING TRANSFERS OF CERTAIN FUNDS
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously authorized certain expen-
ditures beyond the budgeted amounts allocated to the various departments
of the City's General Government previously anticipated in the 1963
Budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT R-SOLVED, by the City Council of the City
of Fridley, meeting at a regular session oil the. 7th day of October,
1963, as follows:
1. That appropriation for the following activities be reduced
as follows:
Emergency Appropriation $ 6,293.00
III and that the appropriations of the following activities
be increased as follows:
City Council 475.00
Recreation 5,700.00
Gen. Qov't. Bldgs. 118.00
TOTAL $ 6,293.00
2. That a transfer of $5,700.00 from the general fund to the
Recreation fund be authorized.
3. That a transfer of $53,500.00 from the Public Utility Fund
to Improvement Bond at 1961 Fund be authorized and is for
the purpose of reducing the tax levy for the year 1963 collect-
ible in 1964.
