A aESOLUTION A7?IRMING AND RATIFYING THE ACTS OF THE CITY COUNCIL TAKEN
ON NOVWBFR 11, 1963, IN REFERENCE TO THE NORTH SUBURBAN SANITARY SEWER
DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the City Council of Fridley, Minnesota, did on November 11,
1963, at a special meeting thereof, adopt a Resolution and Petition for
the withdrawal of the City of Fridley from the North Suburban Sanitary
Sewer District, and
Tc7EREAS, the action of the City Council on November 11, 1963, con-
cerned public business and that action on a public holiday was necessary
because of the announced intention of the North Suburban Sanitary Sewer
District Board to incur liability and let awards for construction contracts
on the meeting day of the North Suburban Sewer District Board, namely
November, 12, 1963.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the action of the City Council
of the City of Fridley in connection with the Resolution and Petition
for the withdrawal of the City of Fridley from the North Suburban San-
itary Sewer District as taken at the special meeting of the City Council
on November 11, 1963, be in all respects affirmed and ratified.
ADOPTED THIS 2ND DAY OF DECEMBER, 1963 BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FRIDLEY.

RESOLUTION NO
A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
STREETS 1963-2 AND APPROVING PLANS AND PROVIDING FOR BIDS.
WHEREAS, Resolutions No. 143-1963 and No. 171-1963 of the City
Council adopted the 7th day of October and the 4th day of November,
1963, set the date for hearing on the proposed improvement, as speci-
fically noted in the Notice of H-aring attached hereto for reference
as Exhibit "A", and
WHEREAS, All of the property owners hwose property is liable to be
assessed with the Taking of those improvements (as noted in said notice)
were given ten (10) days published notice of the Council hearing through
two (2) weekly publications of the required notice, and the hearing was
held and the property owners heard thereon at the hearing, as noted in
said notice.
THEREFORF, RE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of
Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolutions
No. 143-1963 and No. 171-1963 are hereby ordered to be effected
and completed as soon as reasonably possible, to-wit:
a. All of the improvements as noted in the notice of hearing on
the same as are noted (in Exhibit "A") in said notice.
That the work above may be consolidated with other areas as one
improvement, to be performed under contract let by Anoka County,
in accordance with bids received.
2. the City Engineer and the County Engineer, are hereby designated
as the Engineers for this improveent and are authorized to pre-
pare final plans and specifications for such improvement. Further,

such plans as noted in the agreement approved by Council action on
October 7, 1963, are approved.
3. The County is authorized to advertise for bids for the performance
of the work. Such bids shall be received on the date called, tabulated,
and a contract for the work let for the benefit of the City; all pur-
suant to the cooperative agreement approved by Council action on October
7, 1963.

EXHIBIT "A"
CITY OF FRIDLEY
NOTICE OF HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
ST. 1963-2
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County,
Minnesota, has deemed it necessary and expedient that the improvements
hereinafter described be made.
NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on the 18th day of
November, 1963, at 8:00 o'clock P.Y., the City Council will meet at
the City Hall in said City, and will at said time, and place hear all
parties interested in said improvements in whole or in part.
The general nature of the imirovements is the construction (in the
lands and streets noted below) of the following improvements, to-wit:
CONSTRUCTION ITEM:
A. Concrete curb and gutter located in all of the following streets
and serving all of the area described as follows:
1. Old Central Avenue Northeast (CSAH #35) from Mississippi
Street Northeast (CSAH #6) to Osborne Road Northeast (CSAH #8) .
THAT THE TOTAL ESTIMATED COST OF SAID IMPROVEMENTS 1:,500.00
THAT THE AREA PROPOSED TO BE ASSESSED FOR SAID IMPROVEMENT IS AS FOLLOWS:
For construction item A, Above:
All of the land abutting upon said streets named above and all lands
adjacent and abutting thereto.
All of said land to be assessed proportionately according to the
benefits received by such improvements.
That the Council proposes to proceed with each of said improvements
as separate improvements, except as hereafter otherwise provided by the
qouncil all under the following authority, to-wit: Minnesota Laws 1961,
Chapter 429 and laws amendatory thereof, and in conformity with the City
Charter.
