A RESOLUTION APPOINTING CallISSIONER OF HIGHWAYS TO ACT AS AGENT OF
THE CITY OF FRIDLEY IN RETIDCATION OF UTILITIES - SP 0285-03 AND SP
0285-12 (694) AGREEMENT 53837
BE IT RSSOLVED, that the City enter into an agreement with the
State of Minnesota, Department of Highways for the following purposes,
To appoint the Commissioner of Highways to act as the agent of
the City in the rlocation of City owned water mains, sanitary
sewers and app rtenances thereto as necessitated by Trunk High,-
way 69 construction; and to authorize said Commissioner to pay
the State's contractor directly for said utility relocation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Manager be and
they hereby are authorized to execute such agreement.
PASSE7 AND ADOPTED THIS 16TH DAY OF DECEMBER, 1963 BY THE

A 7ESOLUTION TRANSFERRING OF CERTAIN FUNDS
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously authorized certain
expenditures beyond the budgeted amounts allocated to the various
departments of the City's General Government not previously anti-
cipated in the 1963 Budget.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, By the City Council of the City
of Fridley, meeting at a regular session on the 16th day of December,
1963, as follows:
1. That the appropriations for the following activities be re-
duced as follows:

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE USE OR RELEASE OF MINNESOTA STATE AID
FUNDS FOR PAYVENT OF CITY'S EXPENSE IN REGARD TO THE IMPROVEMENT
OF PROPOSED 73RD AVENUE NORTHEAST.
BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Fridley use a sum not to
exceed Ten Thousand and no/100 ($10,000.00) Dollars of its reserve
of Minnesota State Aid Funds for its share of street improvement
in connection with 73rd Avenue N.E.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk and the City Manager
be authorized and directed to employ from said funds the necessary sum
to acquire title to the property at 7301 East River Road, N.E., in the
City of Fridley, by a negotiation with the owners and to pay out to
other funds of the City such costs, expense, and assessments that may
be involved with the acquisition of the title to said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution serves as a request
for the release of and the payrent of Ten Thousand and no/100 ($10,000.00)
Dollars of the Minnesota State Aid Funds now held in reserve by the
Minnesota State Department of Highways to the Treasurer of the City of
Fridley.
