A RESOLUTION FOR SPECIAL 1965 CENSUS
TJTTEREAS, the Minnesota legislature by the adoption of Clapter
282 of the Session Laws of Minnesota for 1963, amended the Minnesota
Statutes, Section 297.13 by providing for a special census to be
taken in the year 1965.
AND WHEREAS, the City of Fridley has had a continued rapid
increase in population since the 1960 census.
AND T:TEREAS, the allocation by the State Auditor of percent-
age of taxes apportioned by the census will represent a substantial
increase in funds available to the City of Fridley.
AND WHREAS, At is to the best .interests of the City of Fridley
to have a 1965 census.
PE IT R7SOTVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY,
as follows:
Section 1: That the City of Fridley requests the Federal Director
of the Census to take a special census of the City of
Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, in the year 1965 for the purpose
of determining the population for the purpose of receiving tax dis-
tributions under Minnesota Statutes 297.13 as amended by Chapter
282 of the Minnesota Session Laws for 1963.
Section 2: That the expense of taking such census shall be paid
by the City of Fridley.
PASSED AYD ADOPTED THIS 16TH DAY OF DECEMPFa, 1963, BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY.

A 7,ESCLUTION CE7TIFYING CHARGES TO THE COUNTY AUDITOR TO BE LEVIED
AGAINST CERTAIN MOPERTIES FOR COLLECTION WITH THE 1963 TAXES
7}-TEREAS, a nuisance condition has been found to exist on Lots
5 and 6, Block 12, Spring Brook Park Addition, and,
WHEREAS, the owner of such property was given notice to abate
such nuisance, and,
WHEREAS, the owner of such property did not p.hate such nuisance,
and the City of Fridley, under authority of Section 11,5.23 Minnesota
State Statute of 1953 did therefore abate the nuisance at a total
cost of 1.00.00.
. N07, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to certify to the County Auditor for collection'
with the 163 taxes, the charges as listed below:
Cleaned and Cleared up Premises $ 100.00
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 16TH
DAY OF DECEMBER, 1963.
