BUILDING PERMIT FEE SCHEDULE
SECTION 2. The Inspector of Buildings shall, before issuing any permit for
the erection of any building or structure, or for any addition to any existing
building or structure, or for any alterations or repairs to any existing
building or structure, upon application therefore, require the payment by the
applicant for such permit of fees to tha�amount herein below set forth and in
the manner herein provided to -wit:
2.1. For any such permit for the erection of any fire -proof building,
other than a garage, warehouse, factory or grain elevator, or for the erection
of any fire -proof addition, for similar occupancy, to any existing building,
shall be at the rate of $1.40 for each one thousand cubic feet, or fraction
thereof, in such cubical contents.
2.2 For any such permit for the erection of any fire -proof garage,
warehouse, factory or grain elevator, or for the erection of any fire -proof
addition, for similar.occupancy, to any existing building shall be at the
rate of $1.25 for each one thousand cubic feet, classified as "fireproof"
by Section 502 of the Minneapolis Building Code.
HOUSES
2.3. For any such permit for'the erection of any non -fireproof
building, other than a garage, warehouse,, factory or grain elevator, or
any non -fireproof addition, for similar occupancy, to -any existing building
permit $1.00 for each one thousand cubic feet.
GARAGES
2.4. For any such permit for the erection of any non -fireproof garage,
warehouse, factory or grain elevator, or for the erection of any non -fire -proof
addition, for similar occupancy, to any existing building or for each such
building or addition — ninety cents ($0.90) for each one thousand cubic feet
or fraction thereof, in the cubical contents thereof with the minimum of $4.00.
For the -purpose of computing fees for building permits, the cubical contents
of any building or addition.to a uniform height throughout by multiplying the
ground area covered from a point six (6) inches below the floor line of the
basement or cellar to the average height of the upper surface or to the average
height of the roof surface of the main gable of a pitched roof.
2.5. For repairs or alterations to an existing structure, the fee shall
be at the rate of $3.00 per.each Five Hundred Dollars'($500.00) or fraction
thereof in the cost of all proposed work.
2.6. In no case shall the fee charged for any permit as set forth in
Section 2 be less than $4.00.'.

Re: Junked Street Inoperable Vehicle Stored at 7400 Lakeside Road N.E.
Dear Mr. Schmidt:
It was confirmed by an on inspection on August 30, 1977 that you
were maintaining a Ford Station Wagon, License #JN 4924, on the above
listed property in a junked street inoperable condition.
Chapter 123 of the Fridley City Code requires that all vehicles in
the City be currently licensed and in a street operable condition. An
alternative is to store said vehicle within a building or at an approved
location, e.g. a licensed junk yard.
Therefore, the City must require you to remove said vehicle from your
Property or bring it into compliance with the City Codes by either
licensing and putting the vehicle in a street operable condition, placing
it within the confines of a building, or removing it to an approved location.
A reinspection will be conducted on or about ten (10) days from the date
of this letter to determine compliance. We are confident in your cooperation
and desire to make Fridley a better community to live in. If any questions
or problems result from this letter, please feel free to contact me at

Failure to abate said violation may result in this matter being turned over

Dear Mr. Schmitt:
A plumbing permit was issued on December 11, 2000, to install a water heater at your address.
According to Section 4715.2800 of the State Plumbing Code, a final inspection shall be
conducted on the plumbing authorized by this permit. As of this date, no inspection has been
called for.
The permit fee that was paid covers the inspections to make sure the work was completed
according to the Code. We will keep your permit open for another 30 days and if we do not hear
from you within this time to set up the inspection, we will mark the permit "no permit called
for" and take no further action.
