Dear Mr. Bayer:
Rudy it appears that you are having problems with complying with our wti.tten
correction notices, specifically concerning anchor systems.
You now have three houses that are all completed and people have been move
in. These houses are 7572 McKinley Street, 7585 McKinley Street, and 7581
Lakeside Road. All three of these do not have nuts and washers on the
anchor bolts.
If these corrections are not made by August 23, 1976, the City will assess
you a reinspection fee of $10.00 per location in addition to giving you a
violation of failing to comply with a written notice in addition to a
violation of the Building Code.
You have also been rather lax in your remembering to call us for final
inspections on your homes prior to your buyers moving in. I can see no
reason for this practice. Please, from this day forth, call us for these
necessary final inspections.
We will wait for your call on these corrections and if we have not heard
from you by the 23rd, we will have no choice but to start more drastic
steps to gain compliance.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Hagen:
The City of Fridley has established a City Code for the purpose of promoting a pleasant and attractive
suburban environment. A recent systematic code enforcement inspection of your neighborhood and
property revealed that not all Code requirements are presently being met. The following items do not
comply with the City Code:
• Fridley City Code exterior storage requirements state that nothing shall be stored in the
front yard. All materials shall be kept in a building so as not to be visible from any public
right-of-way, except for stacked firewood, boats, and trailers placed in the side yard. A

• Fridley City Code fence regulations require all fence materials to be substantially
constructed and maintained, as well as constructed at a height no greater than seven (7)
feet in the side and rear yards and four (4) feet in the front yard. I observed an unstable
fence with two missing sections along the north property line.
We understand that you may have been unaware of this requirement. Correcting this situation will
greatly assist us in helping make Fridley a better place to live. An inspection will be conducted on or
shortly after May 28, 1997. Please have your property in compliance at that time.
