PRE 2010 DOCST/k Community Development Department Housing Division City of Fridley DATE: July 5, 1995 TO: Barry Riesch, Building Inspector FROM: Grant Fernelius, Housing Coordinator SUBJECT: Plan Review for 187 Longfellow St. As you are probably aware, the Fridley HRA recently sold this vacant parcel. The builder, Whitney Homes, either has or will be submitting house plans for this site in the next few days. I would like to make you aware of one issue which should be addressed before any permits are issued. According to an adjoining property owner there is a drainage problem at the back of this site, especially in the northeast corner. Apparently snow and rain runoff collects in this corner and overflows into the neighboring yard to the north. I don't know if the contractor plans on doing any grading, however the drainage issue should addressed. Please let me know if you have any questions or if I can be of further assistance.
