We have your request regarding the l'andsmping on our corner lot.
We have lived here for over 16 years. The Street is a dead end extending only one
block beyond our corner. In this long period of time there has been no history of any
accidents of any kind that might indicate that there is a hazardous condition existing.
The visual field at this corner is sufficient to observe traffic because the hedge mentioned
is back from each intersecting street approximately 10 feet allowing any driver thb Ike
looking whefs_he is going and travelling at a speed comownurate to a suburban area where
children abound.
Living here 1 block from the busy thorofare East River Road we have observed
however some conditions that should have received your attention, namely, that in some of
the long Minnesota winters (which are most winters) the snow at the intersections of
Longfellow and East River Roads and many other street inUrsections is allowed to pile up
so that approaching traffic from either way is not observable at all; the pavement also being
slippery a very hazardous situation is allowed to exist -all winter long which could and
should be rempved with damage to no one and with blessing for all.
We now therefore deny your request as being capricious and will not comply until
every legal remedy to defeat what amounts to an attempt to disfigure our personal premises
and rob them of their great beauty and aesthetic value to the neighborhood, for no reason
that has been apparent to us who have lived right here for the 16 years and the hedge was
also here the full 16 years and also before that.

On September 8, 1992, the Fridley City Council officially approved
your request for a Special Use Permit., SP #92-08, to allow
accessory buildings other than the first accessory building over
240 square feet. The City Council approved this accessory building
to be no larger than 24' x 24' (576 square feet), on Lots 15-18,
Block 1, Spring Brook Park, generally located at 424 Longfellow
Street N.E., with the following stipulations:
1. The accessory structure shall be compatible with the existing
dwelling unit and shall not exceed 14 feet in height.
2. The petitioner shall provide a hard surface driveway by
September 1, 1993.
3. The accessory structure shall not be used as a home occupation
as per Section 205.03.34 of the zoning code.
4: The petitioner shall not repair automobiles for profit.
5. There shall be no painting of automobiles in the accessory
structure.
6. There shall be no storage of automobiles on the property or
in the accessory ,structure which .are not registered to the
property owner.
7. All cars and car parts undergoing and/or awaiting restoration
shall be stored inside.

the City Code .are violated, the City. reserves the right 'to
