SUBJECT: Tasks Unlimited Inc.; Purchase of Property
On February 15, 1994, I talked to Craig Brett of Tasks Unlimited,
Inc. regarding purchase of the above -referenced property.
Currently on the property is a duplex. Each unit contains three
bedrooms. Tasks Unlimited, Inc. has a contract with Anoka County
to provide a variety of housing and other support services for
adults with mental health disabilities. Mr. Brett stated that
three adults would be living in each of the units. He also
stated that this operation is not subject to the licensing
requirements of Rule 36, nor does it require a special use
permit. Tasks Unlimited, Inc. will lease each of the units to
the three individuals collectively. Because three unrelated
individuals are living in one unit, it meets the definition of a
Family according to the Fridley Zoning Code.
I advised Mr. Brett to contact Dick Larson regarding
appropriation of rental licenses as soon as possible. Leon
Madsen advised me last week that Tasks Unlimited, Inc. has
applied for tax exempt status. He is in the process of
researching their by-laws to determine whether or not the
application would be approved.

Flat Roof
1. Take off shoot metal counter flashing and dispose of.
2. Sweep clean the existing roof surface. (:lean up and Maui away all
debris from the premises.
3. Tear off the existing roofing down to the roof boards. Clean up and
haul away all debris from the premises. Replace any rotten and%or
broken roof boards (if any) at a separate price based on labor and
materials, above the contract price. price for labor and materials
would be 81.65 per sq. ft. if large quantity is necessary price will
be reduced per sq. ft -
4. install one layer of 2.7" leacyanurate roof insulation over the
entire roof surface.
S. Install one layer of 1/2" wood fiber roof insulation over tris entire
roof surface.
6. Then over base ply we will install T` layers of Type IV
fiberglass felt, running all felts up onto the base flashings. Each
layer of felt will be mopped in solid with hot asphalt at a rate of
no lose than 25 ibs..per sq. ft.
7. Flash all wells, curbs, chimneys, etc., with an additional layer of
modified bitumen 160 mil flashing material, fasten and secure.
8. Install new pitch pans to replace the existing pitch pans.
9. Install new galvanized sheet metal plumbing stacks of two piece
construction with lead tops.
le. Reuse existing center drain and re -flash properly to new root system.
It. Install new galvanized sheet metal edge metal around the entire
outside perimeter.
12. Install not+ galvanized scuppers where existing are now.
13. Flood coat the entire roof surface with a final layer of hot asphalt
at a rate of 60 lbs. per 100 sq. ft. and embed washed roofing gravel
in asphalt while still hot a rate of 580 lbs. per 100 sq. ft.

completed and clean up and haul away all debris from the premises.

A mechanical permit was issued on June 28, 2001 to install a furnace and an air conditioner at
the above noted address. According to the 1991 Uniform Mechanical Code a final inspection
shall be conducted on the work authorized by this permit. As of this date, no inspection has been
called for.
The permit fee that was paid covers the inspection to make sure the work was completed
according to the Codes. We will keep your permit open for another 30 days and if we do not
hear from you within this time to set up the inspection, we will expire the permit and no further
action will be taken.
