Dear Mr. Olson,
I am writing this letter in regards to a problem I amchaving
with Larry's Quality Sanitation.
On Monday, June 9, 1980, they decided not to pick up the bags
of grass clippings we had ready for them. My wife phoned them and
they said that the clippings had to be put near the road - not up
on the drive -gray near the garage as we had always done in the past.
They also said they would pick the clippings up on June 12, i080
(Thursday). They did not do this. Now they say they won't pick
the clippings up until Monday, June 16.
This is causing unnecessary problems for us since we are
leaving town Saturday, June 14.
I believe their method of arbitrarily changing policies to
prove a point is a poor business practice. In this case it is a
great inconvenience and a potential health hazard at a time when
we will not be home to control it.
As of Monday, June 9th, some of the bags were five days old,
were attracting worms and gave off an awful odor. We have since
re -bagged the clippings. I cannot guarantee or control the status
of them between now June 13th and Monday, June 16th. I would
appreciate your comments in regards to this situation.
Any sanitation service that operates its business with such
policies surely does not deserve to use the word "Quality$'.
