Dear Mr. Wescom:
It was confirmed by a routine on-site inspection -on July 19, 1979 that the
above listed rental property was being maintained in violation of Chapter
220, Residential Maintenance Code, of the Fridley City Code.
Although the general condition of the property was good, the inspection
on the above date found the following list of deficiencies which must be b
corrected. Any.repairs or improvements must be completed in a workmanship
like manner. It is the City's hope that similar or other deficiencies in
apartments that were not inspected will be corrected as needed.

It was confirmed by a. routine on-site inspection on January 12, 1982 that
the above listed rental property was being maintained in violation of
Chapter 220, Residential Maintenance Code, of the Fridley City Code.
Although the general condition of the property was good, the inspection on

4. Enclosed you will final a copy of the energy retrofitting
requirements that were adopted by the Fridley City Council in March,
1982. Please note that the ordinance requires that all exterior
windows, doors, rim joists, joints and utility openings be
effectively caulked and weatherstripped to seal off drafts and
reduce energy losses. Although these are manditory requirements, it
is the City's hope that each property owner will realize that the
money and energy savings and the increased comfort to the occupant,
would more than compensate for the cost of doing a permanent qualiyyty

The City received a call from the occupant of Apartment #2, Mr.
Chris Holafz, on December 8, 1983. He requested that we inspect his
apartment for possible Maintenance Code violations. A subsequent
inspection Was conducted on December 8, 1983 and the following
deficiencies were found:
1. Code Section 220.063 (2): The kitchen faucet was leaking.
2. Code Section 220.063 (2): The seal between the water closet
(toilet) and the floor may be broken.
3. Code Section 220.063 (3): The heat zone valve was not
functioning properly as the thermostat was set at the minimum
setting and the baseboard heating units were still hot, causing the
apartment to be very Warm.
Would you please see that these three items are corrected as soon as
possible. We will reinspect the apartment on or about December 29,
1983 and expect that all the items will have been corrected by that
date.
